This company takes months to answer its clients and they have hidden fees which the client does not see when paying for the booking.

We rented an apartment in Palermo city in Sicily. Our host was great and so was the apartment. I would recommend the site, but also to be careful, as with any sites like this one(airbnb for instance). Chat with the owner, look at recommendations from people who have stayed at the place, etc.
We had a good experience, but I'm sure that you could have bad ones as well if not careful.

We rented an apartment in Miami this summer, payed in full, received all confirmation emails from Wimdu med all info but when we arrived in Miami THERE WAS NO APARTMENT. Wimdu does not take any responsibilities and they have no idea who is renting out these places, they do not check the hosts or the places. 5 more people/families have been fooled this summer. SO DO NOT USE WIMDU!!!!

We looked at this beautiful house on Mallorca, got a nice deal, even pickup at the airport was part of the offer. Fortunately my son advised me to search for the pictures via google chrome and guess what: the exact same pictures surfaced from different parts of spain. SCAM......

Be aware that this summer the homepage of Wimdu has been hacked, and false emails distributed to confuse and ruin customers

If you cancel your vaccation appartement, they will keep at big part of the money. In our case, 577 Danish kr (about 100 $)

I have had very bad experiences with Wimdu and Kingly rentals. Wimdu is not to be trusted, many advertisements on their website are false. I came in contact with Kingly Rentals through Wimdu. I was ripped of by Kingly Rentals, it is a fake company. Be very careful when dealing with these two companies!

Do not book thru Wimdu. Trying to book a villa at Ibiza we got in contact with a fake company - Kingly Rentals - and found out they steal peoples id's/pictures. Their web changes all the time - new names, new pictures. So be careful. Do your research - and for good sake - AVOID Kingly Rentals!!! They're fake.

I really liked the website - it's easy to navigate on, you get mails every time something happens on your account (i.e. a message from a renter, resume of a trip's information and so on) and I am so pleasantly surprised.

HACKER/FRAUD On WIMDU -Management knows - but does nothing, and run away from taking responsability.
We booked through Agent house on Mallorca, which we found on Wimdu HomePage. The person/house was FRAUD, and we lost a lot of money (2 families). Wimdu removed house and agent immediately, but dont want to refund us the money. Look further back on Trustpilot -exactly same thing happend to other families earlier in 2015. Poor management that knows they have a leak in there system, but keep on selling, and does not take responsability for there product. Be carefull, and even better: BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

we were scammed by a property on Wimdu - which W said they had completed their 3 point checks. we were led onto a false/mirror website with payment details. Despite 2 families being scammed of €2500, Wimdu took no responsibility and wouldn't help investigate why their 3 point security failed. They have since removed the scam property BUT we are left without any cover. Really shocking.

I think that Emily deserves a star for a very friendly attitude - she presents great offers (maybe too many - big smile).
Me and my family has used Wimdu/Emily 3 times in 3 different countries - Spain (Mallorca) Germany (Berlin) Uk (London) - all 3 places were perfect - Mallorca was outstanding....

We booked our Holiday in Italy through WIMDU, and in all issues we have had a nice experience with them.

Easy to find options on the chosen location. Nice that you can sellect exatly what is important for you. For example 'children friendly'. The only minus is that the fee you have to pay to wimdu was not written anywhere and we had to pay 130 € more at the end of the boking. I think wimdu should tell about this fee much earlier in the process!

I have rented a flat in London twice and recived a good service both times!

I have only had very good experiences with Wimdu. Quick responses. I can recommend the firm.

Me and my boyfriend rented an apartment in Barcelona this week.
The surprise came after 10 minutes in bed, when we realised that we were being bited by a plague of BEDBUGS which were sharing the matress where we supposed to sleep . We had to spend the whole night lying on the floor by the kitchen covered with our own bed sheets.
After 4 days I still waiting for my money back and fighting with them for the refund of the first night we passed in the floor of the house.
The people in charged of the customer service is totally incompetent and unprofessional and they do not take responsabilities for the services they are offering.
No quality control
Not Health and safety control
Do not trust them, you will lose time and money and you will be treated with no respect and consideration at all.

I didn't have any problem. Only good thinks to say. And guick respons from the owner
