Exeter Guildhall store earlier today went to return a faulty iron I purchased 10 days ago. Whoever dealt with me (he refused to give me his name or job title) was completely rude & arrogant, even trying to explain to me how to use an iron (I’ve been ironing for 40 years, how patronising) . Took the iron away to ‘test’ & said nothing wrong with it. U was accused of lying & therefore I couldn’t get a refund. I was left with a boiling hot iron with nowhere to put it & asked what I was expected to do. He sniggered & walked off whilst other staff members were chuckling.
Shocking customer service & unable to find anywhere to make a complaint as I purchased in store as opposed to online.

Still waiting for a refund 8 months later.

I love this shop. It kept me going over the lock downs & I get monthly deliveries of garden stuff for my allotment. I have regularly bought stuff online from them for years.

However, recently the deliveries have got worse. Hermes were never great but since changing the name to Evri they have found a new level of incompetence. Lost, broken & delayed parcels are the new normal. The tracking is a joke.

Wilko as a company are great. Their telephone customer service is good & staff really polite & helpful. The warehouse despatch quickly & then it goes wrong.

This company like many others is let down by its choice of delivery company. It's such a shame as wilko have such great products & not all of us have a store locally.

I get couriers are super busy & are pushed to the limits but their
awful performance reflects badly on businesses who use them & put customers off buying again.

I will continue to order from them as I love the products but I have a sense of dread that I'll be chasing my delivery every time I order.

Chased with Wilko. The company took 2 days to respond and refunded my postage costs
it is now 02/05/22 AND STILL NO DELIVERY

Had an issue with poorly protected item posted to me but i sent them an email with a photo of the damage and they swiftly replaced the item and were genuine and apologetic for the inconvenience. Good customer service.

Great store for all your home products etc. Good range of pet products. Lovely garden range and painting and decorating supplies.
I would definitely recommend!

An excellent range of goods for ‘all things household’ + stationary, cards, confectionary, toiletries, gardening, pet foods etc, etc, etc. Both Wilko own brand and premium brands on sale, well priced.
Staff helpful and polite, quite a few on the shop floor should you need help/advice
No quibble at all if you need to return a purchase.
All in all, definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a basic item at a competitive price 👍🏼

Have just read that Wilko are going to allow customers to bring their pet dogs into the store when shopping. Well, I am a dog lover but I certainly won't be shopping there again.

I have two stores to choose from and both are always busy but you can find just about most things. The stores are clean and the staff are helpful. Definitely worth shopping at.
