This long 3 week tour of Japan was meticulously prepared by both the company and the excellent local guide. We experienced a much more diverse Japan than I could have imagined or organised as an independent traveller. Hotel accommodation was excellent and locations chosen were superb and often off the beaten track. Absolutely first class.
I recently went on the Turkey: Eastern Borderlands group tour, and it was a great experience. The tour included plenty of great sights, such as the city of Ani, Şanlıurfa and Akhtamar Island, so the programme was well designed. And the execution was done very well, with all the logistics of driving, restaurants, hotels and visits done seamlessly and with the constant presence of a super friendly and supportive group leader.
I have just returned from Algeria on Wild Frontiers “Crossroads of the Maghreb” tour.
This trip really gave an insight into the country and its people. Mohammed, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of Algerian life and history.
The trip was varied from Algiers, a coastal town to experiencing the sand dunes of the Sahara.
This trip just left me wanting more!
This was a special trip for me as I'd wanted to visit southeast Asia for the past 20 years!! I finally gifted the trip to myself and it didn't disappoint.
It was pacey and we went off the beaten track as well as seeing the essential sites - Angkor Wat being the cherry on the cake.
We were well looked after, and stayed in beautiful places. The food was varied, ranging from high-end restaurants to simple homestay food which was delicious.
The tour leader (James) was fun and well-informed, tweaking the trip along the way as circumstances dictated.
I just need to save up for another Wild Frontiers experience.

Our trip to Colombia was our third Wild Frontiers trip in five months and, as with the others, it was a fabulous experience.
The trip was interesting, well paced, informative and entertaining.
Our guide (Alex) was fantastic. The guides used by WF all seem to be well chosen and we get so much from spending time with them and learning about the culture and history of the places we visit. He was very patient and no questions were off limits.
The hotels were all very good and the food (plentiful), was also good. The vehicles used were all good quality and this makes such a difference when we are on long drives.
We are very pleased to have found WF and would highly recommend them.

We have just returned from our South Indian Odyssey with Wild Frontiers, 19 days starting in Chennai and ending up on the western side of India in Kochi. This was a fantastic trip, really well thought out to give us contrasting experiences of temples, palaces, nature, culture and food. The guide was knowledgeable and funny, hotels were great, would thoroughly recommend.

From first contact, Wild Frontiers were excellent in communicating with me. The pre-departure information was very informative and provided all of the information one needed travelling to Nepal especially the visa application and what to pack. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and the transport and guides were top notch. The time in the National Park was fantastic and yes, we saw a tiger!! With an unexpected five day extension in Kathmandu and travel disruption due to the Iran conflict Wild Frontiers kept in touch with me on a daily basis although, having booked flights independently, they had no responsibility for my travel home. I would strongly recommend them as a group tour company and although this was first experience of group travel, will certainly be booking with them again and having them book my flights😂.

My husband and I joined the Wild Frontiers group for a 21 days South India Odyssey Tour. We were amazed by the culture, the architecture of the Tamil Nadu temples and the colourful friendly people. The House boat experience in Kerala was excellent with beautiful scenery along the way. The food was varied and enjoyable. There were many beautiful sites visited, too many to name. We had the services of a very capable and knowledgeable tour guide Dilesh. We had a safe driver Ranjeith with superb driving skills. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

I have travelled with Wild Frontiers several times previously and can honestly say I have always had great trips.
"Sri Lanka: Hidden Treasures of the Sacred Island" was no exception. This trip is really diverse, reflecting the country itself, including different scenic landscapes, key historical sites, wildlife (no, we didn't see leopards!) and cultural highlights.
As always, Dammika our guide was excellent, as was the food and accommodation. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I recently went on a trip to Egypt, a private tour organised by Kenny. It was so so nice to let someone else plan the itinerary, organise the transfers and logistics and it really was so impressive how seamlessly smooth everything was. I would 100% book again and recommend to all friends and family.

We had an exciting and adventurous tour made easy by the complete professionalism of Wild Frontier who prepared a complete pre-tour information pack that covered all my questions. The local guides and drivers were superb and became our friends. The scenery and activities were wonderful , and the small group of other travellers I joined were all charming and welcoming. I had a great and unique holiday. Thoroughly recommended.

We’ve travelled on three trips with Wild Frontiers - one in a group, and two tailor-made - and would recommend them without hesitation. Their ability to conjure up great itineraries in amazing places is astounding, and that’s down to local knowledge and contacts that are second to none.

We have just had four brilliant weeks in India arranged by Wild Frontiers, the first two on a group tour and the second as a tailor made extension. The group tour felt a very safe and supported introduction to India; everything worked like clockwork and we did far more than we would have done on our own. It was such a treat to have all the arrangements done for us so we could concentrate on all the amazing things we saw. The others in the group were all lovely. The tailor made extension planned by Jess was wonderful; gorgeous hotels in fascinating places - both cities (eg Bikaner which deserves to be better known) and in peaceful countryside. Having our own driver made us feel completely safe and every last detail of the trip was meticulously planned and delivered. We will certainly travel with Wild Frontiers again.

We have travelled several times with Wild Frontiers. This tour- Temples, Taj and Tigers - was one of our best ever holidays. Great scenery, lovely heritage hotels and amazing food. And yes, we saw tigers

We’ve just come back from a tailor made trip around Argentina and Chile lasting nearly four weeks. The itinerary worked extremely well and we saw all the top sites. The hotels were carefully chosen and we stayed in some absolutely delightful places. Every guide we had was very knowledgeable and easy to be with. Yet again, Wild Frontiers have come up trumps. I’d highly recommend them and they have never let me down on any of many trips I have taken with them.

I loved loved loved my recent adventure through Laos and Cambodia with Wild Frontiers …….A wonderful mix of like minded independent spirited travellers with great organisation and planning and a faultless guide leader in James Connery who has boundless energy to deliver the best experience for all on his care .
An introduction to the history, landscape, culture and people of this part of Indochina just leaves you wanting more …… and Angkor Wat was definitely a breathtaking highlight !. I feel privileged to have had such an immersive, diverse, thoughtfully planned and all round joyous experience - I will be back for more .
You are in very safe hands with Wild Frontiers !

We visited Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel with Wild Frontiers this January 2026. The tour was brilliantly designed and organised. The 12 person dahabiya absolutely the best way to travel up the Nile. And our guide was fantastic, absolutely the best guide we have ever had. She had a very deep interest in Egypt, both Ancient and modern, and a relaxed and humorous ability to explain it all to us. This is an outstanding tour

An Unforgettable Journey Through Oman
This trip far exceeded my expectations, and choosing this itinerary with Wild Frontiers was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Everything was very well organised, with comfortable accommodation that beautifully reflected Omani culture and high standards throughout.
The food was excellent, we were very well fed and had the chance to enjoy a wide variety of delicious traditional dishes. Highlights included wild camping in the desert, the unforgettable sunrise at Khaluf Beach, the Friday cattle market in Nizwa, and the stunning beauty of Salalah.
Both our tour leader and driver were excellent, knowledgeable, professional, and always calm and helpful. Their experience, friendliness, and great teamwork made the journey smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free from start to finish.
The trip was also very respectful of nature and local communities, with great care taken during wild camping and clear support for local families and businesses.
Overall, a truly unique and memorable experience, and I would highly recommend Wild Frontiers to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful journey through Oman 🇴🇲

My family and I traveled to Uzbekistan with Wild Frontiers. Communication with them during the planning phase was always polite, fluid, and receptive. They efficiently responded to our inquiries and attended to our requests.
The actual trip was well organized and tailored to our family, incorporating unique excursions and special activities to satisfy our diverse interests. Their local partners were equally flexible, available, and accommodating. Our private guide was an exceptional source of knowledge. We will definitely consider using Wild Frontiers again for a future trip.

The end-of-year 12-day trip to Bhutan was amazing. Being outside everyday, walking, hiking, and learning so much about Bhutanese culture was truly a life-changing experience. Our guides were second-to-none. This is Wild Frontiers' specialty: excellent local guides who help you immerse in the country you are visiting. I highly recommend.
