My rental couldn’t have been worse - unless it didn’t drive (it did function, trying to go 100km on highways was scary though). Everything inside and out was dirty and old, the bedding mats didn’t fit, the sink pump didn’t work, the table was impractically tall, and it was supposed to be “incognito” instead of turquoise.

Good experience but you take the van without fuel and for assist because my battery it’s low all the travel

We had to book an emergency hire car for our Exmouth trip after breaking down on the way up. Booking was easy, communication was quick and helpful, pick up and drop off of car was quick seamless with the online check in.
Car was fully equipped for what we needed to finish the trip and we got to enjoy the rest of our holiday comfortably
Thanks Wicked Campers

I have been really well welcomed into the office when I arrived. I had a nice little car conformed to my order and I could leaved in the next minute I completed all the documentation.
Maybe a deeper explanation of the roof tent would had be nice. I struggled to open the windows on my own.
The car has been smooth and ok all the way along. I had no one issues, same to give back the car.
You only need to think to wash it before the return.
Thanks a lot to the team.

Well what could be better...the vehicle which I hired had an awful esky unsuitable for hot Northern Territory climate.
The aircon fan vents were broken limiting air flow.
Otherwise everything was fine really.

I had a great time! I had no problem with the car but could have been given a bit more detail about the car itself!

We hired a wicked camper for a bush wedding.
We got the mystery machine 3seats. Dont know where the 3rd person sleeps but.
The storage containers are a reasonable size but cannot access them if the bed is made.
The double sun roofs are not accessible.
All in all we were happy.

We had such a great time with our Wicked camper! From booking to collecting to getting to the airport after we dropped it off, and everything in between.
We rented our van from Darwin and the guys working there were so helpful. The van ran well and we had no problems!

WC has been and still are great on communication so far. Car runs and drives well. But it’s an old car with a lot of not so well kept issues. Examples: Not really clean from the start, brakes not up to standard, headlights not in an accurate position (way out of position), no wind screen fluid, pot and pan not clean and also damaged in surface. Make sure you go through the car and equipment before leaving the pickup site. Otherwise we do have a nice road trip with our WC rental.

Unfortunately, a couple of things went wrong with our hire which impacted our trip to Darwin, Kakadu National Park and Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory. To summarise, the issues we experienced:
- I enquired about hiring a booster seat well before our trip. I was advised this would be looked into and that someone would get back to me. This did not occur. Consequently, we purchased our own booster seat on arrival.
- Approximately, 150kms from Darwin (100kms to Jabiru) something went wrong with the vehicle which meant it could not accelerate beyond 90kms and the aircon/ or other part made a loud sound which made it difficult to hear anything.
- Due to the above issue, the vehicle was changed however we were asked why we didn't just stop on the side of the road and wait... With a 4 year old with us and being closer to our intended destination it was safer to proceed the last 100kms.
- Multiple attempts to arrange someone to look at the car or exchange created delays in our plans. We adjusted our trip to remain closer to Jabiru to allow someone to attend on a Saturday. We were advised by Saturday afternoon that someone would now not come until Sunday. We had a full day out planned for Sunday and although there were attempts for the person to come out late morning we held firm with our plans and thankfully someone attended early morning to change the vehicle.
- Minimal support provided to ensure everything about the new vehicle was understood. This resulted in significant difficulties to open the fuel cap. We had to ask locals/travels on a number of occasions to assist us so we could put fuel in. Only one person assisting us could open it whereas the others also struggled.
- While in Kakadu National Park, the fridge stopped working as did the solar panels. This resulted in us having to throw away food and having no nearby option to have fixed or even access ice. When we travelled to a town where we had reception we were advised to adjust with ice for the remainder of the trip. This significantly impacted our plans to be in remote areas where we could not easily restock ice. Again, our trip had to be adjusted and we ultimately made the call to return to Darwin earlier.

Overpriced shit box is about the best description I can use - bed doesn’t fit properly; can’t make the bed as 1/2 the mattress is under the ‘so called kitchen’ ; I’d hate to have 2 people in it - $492 for 3 days - absolute ripoff - 1/2 that price is its value - I only wanted a bed thank goodness - no bedding; no nothing - not even a bloody fridge - spend a bit more and go with a reputable company - only bonus was the guys at the branch in Cairns were great!

We needed a vehicle for two nights to get us from Melbourne to Brisbane and settled on Wicked, based on their competitive prices. We chose bottom of the range and I think it was reasonable value for money. We had no trouble at all with pick up, the vehicle was mechanically sound though quite basic and there was enough room for two of us, though I’m glad we are good friends 😉 Overall I’m happy we chose Wicked and I’d recommend them. But if you’re looking for luxury, maybe try another company

We booked a hitop vehicle, since it's me and my dad traveling and we did not want to cram and share a bed together. When we picked up the vehicle, it was covered on the inside with vulgar texts (the word c*nt was written at least 6 times, and many other slang words and offensive texts). The hitop part was actually missing, so there was no way to sleep in the upper part. Wicked did not offer any help or attempts to solve this issue. The downstairs sleeping area is built to accomodate 1 person, since a sink is located on one end of the vehicle. Let my dad take the full side and spent a week sleeping in a 1m20 space myself. I am 1m80, for reference. So now we had to tour around with a vehicle that did have the height restrictions and cons of hitop, but none of the benefits. Since it catches so much wind it consumes so much more petrol, we cant park it just anywhere, it is harder to drive in windy western australia, etc. No power chord was supplied either. No functioning car radio either. We got a full 1 minute explanation about the vehicle since it was rush hour at the Perth depot (only open from 9 to 11 so thats already problematic). Hopefully we'll be partially reimbursted because we are very disappointed. Lady at the depot was rushed but friendly and seemed embarrassed as well about the state of the vehicle. A vehicle we rented earlier in exmouth was also far from what we expected for what we paid, so we know it's not a 1 time bad experience. Probably only fine if you are an 18yo backpacker without any standards.

Great service from the cairns staff / owner, easy to collect and drop off the wicked van. Upgrade offered free of charge. The mystery machine had everything needed for an awesome camping weekend and was in great condition. Will definitely go back to wicked campers cairns. Cheers Jordan
