hopefully those reports wont fall into oblivion. Scammers have hundred of thousands of fake mobile number. Maybe it is time for all providers to blocked those scammers. I understand that Vodafone, O2,... See more

HEATHER Bryon was the call operator that dealt with my call. She was efficient and helpful. Many thanks.
Alarmingly this site knew what number I wanted to search even before I had typed it in! It was already a suggested option in the search box! How does WhoCalledMe know in advance what calls have been received by my phone?! Seems very suspicious to me
Contact form on this site DOES NOT WORK. Even Met Police have struggled getting in touch with any of from this company, as they appear to have no contact details aside from a faulty 'contact us' form.
Not just poor customer service skills, but no contact service skills. The Met police have been attempting for 4 months to no avail.
Absolutely brilliant site. And free. What is there not to like.
We all no doubt receive scam calls etc . But it is reassuring to come on to this site and share with others these scam phone calls.
And old saying. If it looks like a Duck, if it walks like a Duck.if it Quacks like a Duck ? Then it’s a Duck
Such a good service , probably saved a lot of people thousands of £ . Including me! 😁

Wotcha have now bought this 'Free' app and are now charging for each search.
I won't be using it ever again sadly.
The service is advertised as free but after a result has been found for an unknown number, payment is required. It is not free.
Reliable service. Used many times, enables me to block numbers and help others with the information that I've got. If all the telecommunications companies started putting customers before massive profits then this service probably would not be needed. The government doesn't help by allowing these companies to sell customer numbers on. The phone provider I was with was terrible with up to three calls a day trying to sell. Things are getting worse with more and more numbers being blocked.
I have purchased the premium or platinum service, but it doesn’t work. Every time I try to use the app it tells me I’m still using the basic service. I tried contacting them by email – the email doesn’t work. I tried to contact them on Instagram. No response - if I don’t receive a response before end of business today I will be cancelling my subscription. It seems to let WhatsApp scam calls through anyway.
Undesirable popups and redirects make this site unusable (on my phone)
I am appalled that today when I urgently wanted to find out whether a call was spam or not - which I did quite often and very happily with Who Called Me - that the site now appears to be called 'Wotcha', is by app only, and my access to it on my laptop is blocked. I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER DAMN APP ON MY PHONE! If I could give it zero stars I would!

This site is GREAT for checking numbers that called. Just use common sense. Scammers are known to post danger posts about legit numbers (check all the numbers listed on your bank account and posts about them on this site. Some scam reports may from jokers, scammers or legit posts from people getting spoofed number calls from scammers). Scammers also post fake safe reports about scam numbers. So double check numbers by a google search is recommended if in doubt. It doesn't seem to happen that often but, on rare occasions I have spotted posts that are obviously fake. It does help to check all the posts about a number to get a clearer overview rather than just scan read one or two posts.
I check this site and the numbers reported on it regularly so I'm up to speed with the latest scams. To do this, look up a number on this site and click on the Who Called banner at the top of the page. Scroll down and you will find a list of the posts about the latest scams hitting our phone. Interesting reads!
I also post how to report scam attempts onto the official police/Ofcom system set up by the government to record and investigate all suspect scam attempts.
BUT: Be aware that recently when attempting to post, my Norton security flagged up a 'Malicious Website' warning and chucked me off the site. It has happened a couple of times. A check on my devices confirms nothing nasty loaded onto my system. It could be connected to the adverts on the site that look far more iffy than the scam numbers reported on the site. But take care. The Norton warning meant my 5* rate is reduced to 2* . **
An update to my post above put on 20 October. It is now 10 November.
The problem with malware attempting to get onto my device continues and has got worse. The malware seems to be a trojan according to Norton which keeps chucking me off the site. The trouble seems to have started when the site made changes to the website. The problem only seems to affect my phone. I can currently access and use the site without any problems when using my laptop. Up until today, I could use my phone to access and check the site provided I am extra careful where I put my finger. Not always easy with those adverts and being thrown off the site by Norton happens on a daily basis. Today I couldn't access the site from my phone and get past the cookies acceptance screen without Norton cutting in. **
Hopefully the site owners will sort this soon but it does demonstrate the importance of having decent layers of extra security across all devices. I suspect that scammers will like nothing more than destroying the reputation of all phone number checking sites. **
This site is still excellent for checking the latest scams hitting our phones and checking that funny phone number that just called. Best not do it on your phone! **

I've checked this WCM site on my phone every day to see if I can access it on my phone. Up until this weekend, Norton has blocked it with a malicious website warning. But only on my phone. I am VERY pleased to say that this problem has now been resolved and I can now SAFELY access the site and post on it without any problem using my phone. But as I said, with scammers and hackers becoming increasingly sophisticated and better at their horrid jobs, it does pay to have only the best layers of extra security on all your devices and ALWAYS be on alert and up to speed with what these criminal gangs are currently up to. This WCM site is excellent for keeping watch on the latest phone calls and texts hitting our phones. 2 stars now upgraded to 5 stars!

Who Called Me is an excellent and much needed resource to check who’s calling before I engage with someone I don’t know or can trust. I can then block numbers if needed and more people will be alerted as this information is available to others.

I get so many unsolicited calls I find this site reassuring to compare other users experiences. I was able today to leave a positive comment after checking here the number I didn’t recognise was in fact one I was waiting for. I came back after a successful call to give other users accurate feedback

Thank goodness for this! It helped identify a sophisticated scam quickly. Thank you

I usually use WCM as it seems to be accurate with people posting their experiences of scam calls. I have been checking numbers I don’t recognise for about 5 years now.
Thanks, Who Called Me, you are very helpful!
