Enrolled in a credit repair program with White, Jacobs and associates which was supposed to be a 6 month process. I had 50 negative remarks on my report and was promised they could get all if not most removed. I was asked to pay a monthly fee + non contingent fee over 6 months totaling close to $2k. Their first round would begin after my first payment. It has now been 11 months. They are still sending additional disputes beyond their 4 rounds. I have seen 4 removals that are legitimate but no material change in my scores. I have also received a lawsuit from one creditor they were disputing (I was told they would recommend settling if that was the only round so imagine my shock when I got served with a lawsuit).

I received one of the dispute letters they sent on my behalf which was full of lies - this was returned to sender and came to me as WJA puts my info on all outreach. All in all, my credit is worse than it was when I started and the money I paid them could’ve gone to settling with a creditor.

They have now completely ghosted me since December and ignored several emails.

Save yourself the money and headache and run as far away as you can.

I paid over $2,000 for six months of service, and to this day I cannot get a clear explanation of what work was performed on my behalf. They were unable to provide a meaningful report detailing actions taken, disputes filed, outcomes, or progress. When I raised these concerns directly with my assigned contact, her response became frustrated and confrontational. After that, I was routed almost entirely through her assistant.

Before hiring this company, I strongly recommend that you read and understand the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). Under CROA, it is generally unlawful for a credit repair organization to charge or collect payment before services are fully performed. In my opinion, this company attempts to sidestep that restriction by characterizing the initial payment as a “credit review.” However, even after that upfront payment and before any measurable results are achieved, you will be billed monthly.

Also note that the credit monitoring service they push you to enroll in appears to be operated by the same company, or an affiliated entity. Do not assume they will proactively disclose that relationship before you sign up. Their client portal is also completely inadequate and provides little to no meaningful detail about what actions were taken, what disputes were filed, or what results were achieved. It reads more like a placeholder than a real reporting system, and it did not give me the transparency or documentation you would reasonably expect for the amount being charged.

My experience with White Jacobs has been very bad. I am not surprised by the 5 star reviews they are fake. The person handling my case support rep he is very unprofessional and he called me a liar .I have brought this to Mr. Woods attention with no result crickets' have asked to be remove as my point of contact for the company. He has been lazy in getting my credit fixed still the same thing on my credit he is doing nothing. When I sign he told me that it would easy fix the miss report information on my credit. Well that has not been the case I have tried contact the support rep and I all get back is attitude and no real results. I would be ware of using this and make sure get everything in writing they say thing and is not true. I have contacted his manager I have not received any response at all. The only you can be sure of is that they will take your money. The company has signa contract that you cannot cancel the service until they are paid in full. Do not use this company do your research!!!!

i cant give more than 4 stars, as the person who originally represented me, badly, is no longer working for White Jacobs. that task has been taken over by Lanay, and i couldnt be more pleased at the 180 degree turn around, from disregarded customer, to someone that Lanay and White Jacobs, I feel! is really trying to help. i have read the reviews for this company, and for the short time that Lanay has been the middle-man for my case, she and WJ has taken my customer portal, and made it up to date, after sitting dormant under the auspice of the former employee. he did literally zero, and whats worse, i dont think the execs of WJ knew that my case lie dormant. now, even though its early, im confident that Lanay and the WJ associates will get the job done, in a very competent and precise manner.. thank you Lanay and WJ,!!!.....i know 5 stars will be the order for the day, as we proceed together toward our goals!

Working with Bryan has been one of the biggest blessings during a really overwhelming season of my life.

I can’t recommend Curtis Dorsey enough! He helped boost my credit score from the mid-500s to the mid-700s, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
