I was disappointed with my recent purchase

I was disappointed with my recent purchase from White Cross E-Store and wanted to share my experience so that other customers can make an informed decision.
I ordered a 120-tablet package of 81 mg aspirin. When it arrived, I found that the expiry date was February 2027, giving the product only about six months of remaining labelled shelf life from the time of my purchase.
My intention was to keep the aspirin in an emergency container that I can wear so I have it available to me at all times, so I was looking for a product with a considerably longer shelf life. I did not advise White Cross of this intended use or request a specific minimum expiry date when I placed the order.
After receiving the product, I contacted White Cross and asked whether they could provide aspirin with a substantially later expiry date. They explained that the product I received complies with their policy, which allows products to be supplied provided they have at least 90 days remaining before expiry.
White Cross did offer to refund the cost of the aspirin if I return the package unopened and in its original condition. Unfortunately, I had opened the bottle before i noticed the expiry date!
While I acknowledge that the aspirin was not expired and met White Cross's stated expiry policy, I personally would not have purchased a 120-tablet package with only about six months of labelled shelf life remaining. Had I known the expiry date before ordering, I would have purchased elsewhere.
I am posting this review because customers purchasing medications that they expect to keep for an extended period may wish to ask White Cross about the expiry date of the available stock before placing an order.
