Bought Whitby Survival Axe for my son's birthday. He has carried and used it on every opportunity. He was recently cutting sticks for a small camp fire when a chunk broke out of the cutting edge.
I contacted Whitby to see if I could purchase a replacement head as they looked like they could be unbolted. Unfortunately they do not hold any stock of just the axe head.
But fortunately for us Customer services asked for the proof of purchase and when shown they sent a replacement axe to me.
My son was over the moon with that.
I was over the moon with the fantastic customer experience with this company.
Wholeheartedly recommend.

Outstanding Customer Services!!!
After owning my Leatherman Wave for approx 15 years and being in near constant use in the harshest of environments the blade on the tool snapped. I emailed Whitby & Co in the hope that my tool could be repaired. After following their simple return process sent to me by Angela, I could not believe my eyes as within a few weeks I received a brand new Leatherman Wave + !!! Not only was this totally unexpected, but an upgrade on my original model. I was over the moon, if only other companies took a leaf out of their customer services !! Thank you thank you thank you….. I can not recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant service, I sent my Leatherman charge off for a knife blade replacement, I had no contact off them but I assume maybe they didn’t have a replacement blade to fit, instead they have sent me a later model replacement which I am over the moon with, I sent my multitool to them recorded on Monday and today (Wednesday) I have recieved a new multitool, brilliant service, thankyou Whitby & co

Thank you so much to Angela and the team for the most exceptional service. If I could give six stars I certainly would. I have just had the very best customer service that I have ever experienced and I am no spring chicken! Having returned a Leatherman Wave on the Monday, I then received a new Wave + on the Wednesday ready for an expedition to Scotland. I was kept informed throughout by Angela who has been just exemplary in her attention to detail and professional approach.

Worthless warranty
I sent in my multi-tool for a repair, and waited, and waited. After 8 weeks of radio silence, I contacted them and had a reply describing how Leatherman Europe were experiencing a large number of warranty repairs, so there had been delays. Ok, fine, I'll just wait some more. A few days later, rather conveniently, I get another reply. This time stating that my multi-tool cannot be repaired. Sure, 8 weeks of waiting to find that out, and only after having contacted them first, all just to get no repair, and worse, no reason given for not repairing.
They gave the options to replace the broken multi-tool or have it returned. For a multi-tool I've had for a long time, I naturally chose a return. If I'd wanted a new multi-tool, I would have just bought one, which I was even planning to do after a repair. (No chance of that now, by the way, leatherman.)
I had to contact them twice just to get details of the return of my multi-tool, since they didn't provide anything after I had asked for the return.
I tried contacting leatherman US about paying for a repair over there, which I was again prepared to do, and I'm yet to even get a response. That's fine, and that's two companies I'll have nothing more to do with in future. As I can now deduce from these other reviews, any warranty avenue other than replace, replace, replace is a complete waste of time. The only positive to come out of all this nonsense was getting my multi-tool back today in one piece!

Amazing service. Had my Leatherman for a number of years and a part of one of the blades snapped. I filled out a warranty form on their website and sent it back and within a week they had sent me a brand new replacement, no quibbles.
Absolutely superb customer service
Absolutely superb customer service, had an issue with my leatherman charge, sent it back under the lifetime warranty and within 7 days( including postage both ways!!) It was all sorted. Have used them before and always spot on!!
Superb Company
This company deals with the warranties for Leatherman products. I use my Leatherman all the time, and somehow my Wave+ got a chipped blade. I sent it to Whitby and Co not expecting to see it for a good while but I was wrong. They repaired AND returned it in less than a week. It had a new blade, the whole tool looked like it had been serviced. Excellent customer service is not just doing something well, but giving the customer more than they expect, and Whitby and Co certainly excel at that. Thank you for making everything so easy.
Great customer service
I have two Leatherman multi tools that developed a fault and i sent them back to Whitby and co. and they got them on the Monday and I got the new replacements on the the Thursday .
the customers services department were quick to reply and give me the information I required .
