6SENSE WASHING MACHINE - AVOID LIKE PLAGUE

I can't believe this product is allowed on the market. Some sort of body should prevent the production in order to stop wasting raw materials.
My first machine stopped working after 1 year, approximately. It was the electronics. The after-sales service is slow and I had to wait 3 MONTHS for them to realize they don't have the spare part.
I was given a replacement machine (the same model) and it stopped working after 6 months. After a short nervous breakdown I've decided I am not going to bother with Whirlpool anymore and I bought a new AEG washing machine.
The machine sucked even when it WAS working. The Autodose system for softener must have been invented by a psycho. It effectively prevented the use of softener. There is no manual option to apply it, so one had to run another rinse & spin cycle for 55 min and put the softener inside the machine if one wanted to use it.
As I can see from the reviews, I am not the only victim. And I personally know people who bought a washing machine and a dryer and both stopped working after a couple of months.
AVOID WHIRLPOOL LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Keep your geek

Fair and honest warning: if you see "Auto Sensing" on a washing machine, take a hard pass. I'm on my second brand new machine. I returned the first one the day of purchase. This dumbed down, completely superfluous high tech "feature" is nothing but another unnecessary creation dreamed up by a kid who has apparently either never washed a load of clothes or one who believes people cannot choose the correct amount of water in which to wash their own clothes. I've had a repairman out 4 times in an attempt to get this junk to work properly. Of course on his last, and what I assume to be deemed by him or his superior, and final visit I was told it was fixed. They'll do anything to not have to admit it's a design failure and issue you a credit. This reject of a machine has had 2 control boards replaced plus 2 other parts, yet it still does nothing but waste water. With the price of water and the fact that I'm not the only person living in a drought stricken area, you'd think that even if Whirlpool obviously doesn't care the least about the customer (of course because they already have your money), that they would give a hoot about the resource and the climate. Ha, I realize I'm being naive. So I'm stuck with a piece of garbage that fills to the brim no matter what the load size happens to be. And I was schooled by the repairman that it will NOT do small loads. It wasn't designed that way. 😳 And to add insult to injury, I was also informed that if I wanted to wash a bathmat or any other kind of absorbent or heavy duty material, I was to use a laundromat!!!!!! Unbelievable. If this is what modern technology has gifted us with, I'd like to re-gift. And Whirlpool-please return to manual buttons and knobs!!! As I'm sure you're well aware, it will decrease your revenue because customers won't need parts changed out as often but it will definitely win you over a deluge of new and loyal people who appreciate the way things used to work. And by that I mean actually work!

Dishonesty

Such a bad experience if your machine should be repaired, I should repair mine and they were dishonest towards me. They said in two days everything will be fine and then after I signed the insurance contract and made sure that they will get my money, I received an appointment after 10 days, I called the customer service and they were not helping at all and know we have to stay 10 days without a refrigerator.

Such a dishonest and unprofessional firm, never gonna buy anything from them
