My husband and I got Sak Yant tattoos with Ajarn Yod through Where Sidewalks End in March 2026. Our entire Sak Yant experience was smooth and amazing! Our English-speaking guide Nuch was kind, sweet,... See more

Our tour to Ayutthaya was an epic one. Our guide was super friendly and helpful. Tha Ajarn had an amazing talent on reading our lives and feeling where we ar at in our lives.
Because this was our third trip to Ayutthaya, the guide and tuktuk driver were picking the unknown spots for us and showing more details of the temples and ruins, with here knowledge we got a better understanding of the history of these sites.

We had an absolutely unforgettable day doing the Ancestral Mezcal tour with Vikor, Conejo and his family. It was truely spectacular and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. An extremely authentic experience and we learnt so much about the history of mezcal and the different techniques to make it, particularly the ancestral technique. Thank you so much :)

This was by far the most incredible experience we had in Oaxaca. Our Guide Victor and our Host family were all so welcoming and informative. We learned so much about local culture as well as the centuries old dyeing and weaving traditions that are being carried on today by these amazing Oaxacan artists.

I had a wonderful experience visiting a local mezcal palenque with WSE Travel. This tour will give you a complete overview of how the mezcal business and production work. Not only you get to see the distillation process but also you will first stroll around the agave fields and then by the end of the visit at the palenque, you will taste several of the amazing mezcals! My favorite part - planting a baby agave! It is certainly the best mezcal tour in Oaxaca!

The tour guide Victor From where the sidewalk ends or WSE travel was very knowledgeable and engaging. The experience with a family was very special. Walking in his field seeing the different agave species was almost spiritual. Of course all the mezcal tastings was fabulous.
Highly recommend this tour to see the real mezcal product.

I've done several tours with Where Sidewalks End during my time in Oaxaca and they were all 10/10.
I plan to do more when I return and I've already recommended the tours to friends and family.
These aren't your normal tours- these aim to go deeper and have a lot of thought and consideration around boosting the local economy and working with locals.
