A fantastic experience for my mixed KS1 class. The session was fun, engaging and inspiring. The children are already asking me when we can book the next one!
From an admin point of view, it couldn't have been easier.
Thank you so much!

A wonderful subscription box, full of wonderful goodies! The 'extras' of virtual author visits are just fabulous. Thank you, Heather!

With fun, games, face painting and the key event with A F Steadman - this fundraiser was well run and incredibly inspiring. Children from 7 to 14 told me how much they loved the Skandar books and recommended others. Their excitement to meet Annabel was infectious and heartening. We so often hear that children aren't reading for pleasure anymore and that they're not interested in books. Yet, like at the recent St Austell summer children's literary festival, hundreds of children proved that wrong. Given the opportunity, guidance and accessibility to books that capture their attention - it is clear that many young people do still love reading books.
Heather is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable expert in the field of children's literature. Always on hand for advice and brings exciting new authors to the depths of Cornish schools - thank you Heather for all your hard work at supporting schools to develop a real love of books!

Amazing service. All information was given prior to the event and Heather answered all questions I asked. The event was well organised and ran smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

We are now entering our 3rd year of subscribing to Reading Rocks as a school. The books and goodies we receive each half term are always brilliant and highly anticipated by the children who can't wait to read them.
Reading Rocks has played an instrumental part in our 'Reading for pleasure' journey here at Duke Street Primary School. High quality, newly published books that are diverse in nature provide our children with amazing books to read. The virtual author subscription, which brings authors directly into the classroom and allows children to interact with them has created a real 'buzz' about reading throughout the whole school.
We were recently lucky enough to be visited by Heather and the author Justyn Edwards. The whole of KS2 were hugely entertained by an amazing assembly from Justyn, talking about his newest book and performing magic tricks that left children and staff left wondering how they were done!
I would highly recommend Reading Rocks subscriptions and events ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am subscribed to the KS1 book box. My daughter is in Year One. Our first book box arrived last month and it was fantastic and created such a buzz in the house (my younger son loves to listen to any books being read aloud too). When our latest box arrived, the kids were so excited-knowing what it was! The books are fabulous choices and the way this subscription is presented is lovely- so much care has been taken. Each month little bonus items accompany the books- stickers, bookmarks and this week, a gorgeous colouring sheet featuring SarahMcIntyre’s artwork. I couldn’t recommend these boxes more. A very happy customer- I even sought out this place to drop a review!

Receiving my KS1 box is always a lovely surprise! Beautifully wrapped in tissue paper, it’s like having a birthday every half term! My class love sharing our new books and often seek out the focus authors in our school library too! We are growing a reading for pleasure culture in our school and the carefully selected texts are certainly helping with this! Thank you.
I'm really enjoying the selection of books that are being out with my subscription. I'm always amazed at the different type that I get sent and that I have never read them before! Well done.
It was exciting to meet a new author talking about her first published book. The children were interested to hear about how she developed her characters and where the ideas came from. We couldn't wait to get started on reading her book and were excited to hear that the next book in the series is almost ready to go.

Heather hosted our book launch for THE LIBRARY MOUSE (written by me and illustrated by Sophia O'Connor) in a friendly, relaxed and professional manner. We had a lovely evening, and the whole event ran smoothly from start to finish. I would definitely recommend her! Thank you Heather, and Uclan Publishing for organising.

We love the Reading Rocks virtual author visits! They enable us to put authors in front of children on a regular basis in a very affordable way. They are also so varied with draw-a-longs, question and answer sessions. There has even been dancing! Highly recommended

I emailed Heather with a very vague description of the books I thought I needed to help build up my school’s reading corners and WOW did she come through for me! Thank you Heather for all of the beautiful books, our children are absolutely loving them and you were so prompt, efficient and easy to work with!

My wife and I write children's nature books and Heather had them in her original shop, 'Stories by the Sea'. She has been awful to communicate with, and highly unprofessional. We are owed money and books back from Heather, and as usual, our many polite messages to her, are being ignored. I would advise people to avoid this 'business' at all costs!!!!
