Searched the internet including eBay looking for some decent new empty watch boxes. I then came across Westpack, first of all I was a little concerned that they were Danish, and I was in the UK. I shouldn't have been !!
They had exactly what I was looking for, at a great price. They're communication was excellent, packaging as you would expect from a packaging company was spot on, and delivery was very quick. I was a customer for several years with Westpack and so far, besides small mistakes from the company side, which were sorted immediately, all was ok.
Unfortunate , this has changed.
I had just my usual order , 3-4 times per year, always mostly the same items.
I received last Friday my last order and unfortunately some of the jewellery boxes which I had ordered was send wrongly. So I contacted them immediately via website chat last week, which was closed already for the weekend, so I was aware to wait till this week to get a reply.
This morning I got a two liner email, which told me …. Send again the chat now via email and photos . Well I was not aware to be such an untrustworthy customer after all the years but I understand, and I did all as requested.
I did resend my chat info and also the ”proof” pictures and then got this response.
” …We are going to send the correct ones now and you send back the wrong delivered ones per later delivered shipping label..”
There was no apology, no information what companies have to be used etc. I off course will send back the wrong delivered one, but a few more information which Company etc. Would be simply a basis needed information!
I send them then an email and expressed my really unsatisfactory for this kind of communication and handling and all I got was an answer… we are all humans and doing mistakes.
Well, nice try and excuse, and I know this, However this was not my point of complain. In over 30 years in customer related businesses, I always took the time to contact a customer when something was for what ever reason gone wrong or mistakenly wrong delivered or something else was not handled to the customers request. And I did this in general, no matter for the reasons.
I think it was quite rude and you can now reply to my review as I can seen on previous low reviews.
Fact is, I was treated not as it should be handled. Shame, I thought this was a reliable and customer orientated company.
Unfortunately , this is not the case!
I will not recommend them anymore.
Additional I have to mentioned that the quality of the new postal boxes has dropped.
They used to be high quality, but now they don’t even close properly or bend.
It needs far more taping to secure a save and closed up shipment, which is not really environmentally….
For the postal boxes, I have already found another company. It’s a shame because I really liked the quality they had before.
Why changing a good reliable product, which many customers liked as I can see on the comments?
It’s not only about cost for production, it’s also about to provide a good product! The new post boxes definitely are not near the quality of the previous ones.

This is an update as for any problems, this company doesn’t solve it but comes with times lines in any negative review.
The problem is within the company, and they should face it and fix it instead of calling all day about all the emails etc. THIS DOESN’T HELP !

Everyone makes mistakes, and this is, as I wrote not the point here. But getting treated with not even one word of sorry or any apology but like a staff who has to do the work for you….. well that’s quite arrogant and as I wrote before, maybe we are a too small company.
And what a surprise you didn’t refer to my comment to the poor quality of the new post boxes as so many already stated….. what about this?
Please fix the problem, teach your staff to be some kind of professional to handle a problem.
Don’t put excuses and timelines on email contacts here!
The problem lies in your company and the treatment of you customers by your staff!

Well, I’m honestly lost for words. The ” representative “ for this company doesn’t stop sending me emails and have endless excuses and actually now accusing me to be unfair.
Let me be very clear and put it to the point.
1. Your company have send wrong items.
2. I contacted your company and got the information that the replacement will be send and I have to return the wrong send ones. Absolutely correct, but without return information, this is not possible!
3. I addressed that I’m unsatisfied which such kind of response and missing information for the return.
4. I received a rude answer, just stating I have to understand…….everyone makes mistakes.
Yes, that’s true mistakes can happen , but I would apologise if I or one of my staff would do such communication error to a customer.
5. After I put my review on trustpilot, the emails I received was getting more negative and I have to say now, enough is enough!
I will not change my review as it is honest and what I experienced!
The problem is in your team and better customer service should improve with better training in customer service and relations!
I would not accept if my staff would brash off a customer request like your staff did.
This will ensure bad reputation!

The customer service and products can’t be faulted. As a customer who asks a lot of questions they showed patience and answered all my queries fully.
31 email for sending the non logo items in advance and not waiting for the logo printing. This is the second time when they send the ordered items twice and wether I ahve to pay twice the amount I ordered originally or it has to be organised to send back the redundant part.
