I’ve been with Wells Fargo for a while…

I’ve been with Wells Fargo for a while and I used to love their bill pay option, but for the last several months almost a year they never send anything out on time. I had to cancel one of their bill pays. They never sent it out and I’ve been dealing with trying to get those funds back, but nobody seems to know what’s going on. I keep getting the runaround as to where my funds are and nobody seems to know after this experience, no I will not use them.

Wells Fargo fraudulently refusing to release my funds.

I signed my student loan check over to my best friend who has a Wells Fargo account because I am currently so destitute that I didn't want to have to pay the fee for not having an account with them. I signed a check over to her she deposited it into the ATM and it would not allow her to withdraw the funds. We went inside and they said "oh they'll be available tomorrow morning." Well I was not happy about this, I was willing to accept it. We went back this morning and the funds were still not available after speaking to only one person over the phone at Wells Fargo because supervisor or manager was not an option. We were told that the check was flagged as possible fraudulent activity. And then we're told that they would review it further in a couple of weeks. There was no option to send in pictures of IDs to send copies of emails from my school explaining exactly how much they were sending me into what address. There was absolutely no option for me to get my money for another 2 weeks. The only thing fraudulent in this situation, is Wells Fargo and how they handle their customers money. It is absolutely unacceptable that there is not a way to fast track this. I now have no way to get to my new job I just started, I have no way to get food, I have no way to get my cat's food, ect...
If I had any advice about Wells Fargo, for anybody, it would be stay away, stay far away. Under no circumstances would I recommend trusting these people with your money, in any way.

The worst bank ! After 8 yrs I’m finally making the change

I’ve moved hundreds of thousands through this account and spend thousands over my 8 years with them thus giving them a kickback $ in fees etc each time I’ve used my card. Anyways my card was stolen and I noticed it missing I filed 10 chargebacks because that was the maximum small charges $14.99/19.99/7.99 mostly seemed like whoever had my card was just using it to buy Apple and movies anyways I filed a charge back welp of course it gets denied ! Closing my account tomorrow on top of it all my they hit me with 3 overdraft fees and have me no access to deposit money via atm don’t go with them try a different bank !

I applied for a credit card and they ONLY gave me a very small credit limit...after 2 phone calls lasting 30 min. each and 3 attempts to get an increase they rejected the request. I am debt free, and pay my other credit card off every month.
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH WELLS FARGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I applied for the Wells Fargo credit…

I applied for the Wells Fargo credit card because it offered 0% for 18 months on purchase and balance transfer. I received my card with a 5500 available credit I transferred a small amount from my other card a charged a few thing. It amounted to 2300 and I made about 3 months of payments and the next thing I know was the card was reduced to 2200 limit and the 0% went away. I called to find out what was going on and all I got was they were sending me a letter explaining why it was reduced and the 0% being gone. Got the letter and it said based on your spending we have reduced the amount available and no longer have the 0%. Wells Fargo sucks so I paid them off and will never use this card. Wish I could close it but it would hurt my credit score so I’m just leaving it open. I would never recommend them to anyone. Unbelievable.

Wells Fargo Let Fraud Happen Twice and Blamed Me

My experience with Wells Fargo has been one of the most unacceptable and negligent situations I have ever dealt with, especially as a business owner during peak tax season.

At the beginning of March, my account was compromised. I received a notification that my login credentials had been changed without my authorization. When I attempted to log in, I was locked out. I immediately contacted their fraud department.

While I was actively on the phone reporting fraud, a Zelle transfer of $1,800 was sent from my account in REAL TIME.

This alone should be alarming.

After their investigation, Wells Fargo CONFIRMED the fraud originated from an IP address in Venezuela, not from any of my devices. I personally went into a branch, reset everything, and secured my account.

You would think that would be the end of it.

It wasn’t.

The VERY NEXT DAY, someone called Wells Fargo pretending to be me, and despite an active fraud case, documented compromise, and security alerts on my account, Wells Fargo handed over access AGAIN. That same individual sent ANOTHER $1,800 through Zelle to the SAME recipient.

This was not a one-time failure. This was a repeated breakdown of security and internal controls.

Initially, Wells Fargo’s fraud department acknowledged the obvious. They confirmed it was fraud and told me I would be reimbursed.

Now, after weeks of wasted time, stress, and disruption to my business, they reversed their position and denied my claim, falsely stating that the transactions originated from my phone.

That is not just inaccurate. It is impossible.

The first transaction happened while I was on the phone with their fraud department
The IP address was confirmed to be outside the United States
My credentials had already been compromised and altered
Their own system flagged this as fraud

Yet they still chose to deny responsibility.

This is not a misunderstanding. This is NEGLIGENCE.

Wells Fargo:

Failed to secure a compromised account
Allowed unauthorized access MULTIPLE times
Ignored clear fraud indicators
Contradicted their own investigation findings
Failed to protect a business client
Refused to take accountability

Let me be clear. This is exactly how financial institutions lose trust.

For a bank of this size to allow someone to call in, impersonate a customer, bypass security, and drain funds twice, even after fraud was already reported, is beyond unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about their internal verification procedures and customer protection policies.

And now, instead of standing behind their client, they are attempting to shift blame.

This is why so many customers are losing confidence in large banks and warning others about the risks, especially when it comes to Zelle transactions, where protections are often limited despite obvious fraud situations.

I will be escalating this matter to:

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
The California Attorney General
And any other applicable regulatory authority

This will not be ignored.

If you are considering banking with Wells Fargo, understand this: even when fraud is confirmed, even when their own investigation supports you, you may still be left without your money.

Protect yourself. Because Wells Fargo may not.

Worst bank ever!

I was promised a bonus for signing up and fulfilling certain things. I did my part. They said no. Made up an excuse. Further, they practically allowed a scam web site to take my money and refused to help. Beware! Beware!

Wells Fargo is awful- Mr Rodxxxx please give me and update…

Mr Rodxxxx please give me and update and estimate of how quickly all this is gonna solve.

It's been almost a year since I reported Wells Fargo's wrong doings with the CFPB, and its' been weeks now since I paid your workplace the AAA, to enforce the law and punish Wells Fargo for their bad faith and unwillingness to fix and solve things amicably.
It's getting into absurd territory, and it makes no sense I have to waste 200 bucks, plus all the money you getting from WF, for the AAA rest this holydays, still doing nothing, and not moving all these forward.

Wells Fargo hasn't only wasted my time in dozens of calls, now almost 100 emails exchanges, and useless interactions with their negligent people, but now all they had continuing tormenting me for almost a year now.

Please explain me how far are we in all this, and how close are we for a resolution if this matter.

They had offered me only 1000 dollars, for taking the time of reporting them, and to get rid off my complaint, but keep tormenting me, instead of holding themselves accountable.

Obviously Wells Fargo has lost all decency and shame, and that will be reflected in my reviews, but I want to make sure the AAA isn't also down the same path.
I want a deadline and estimate of how long is going to take you to help me out, and punish WF for all the laws broken and breach of contract.

Thank you,
Jxxxx Dxx

Great assistance with business accounts

I’ve banked with WF for 7 years and always receive great help. Most recently, Marietta Ramirez of the Pearl St. Boulder location went out of her way to help me with my small business accounts. She noticed I hadn’t kept the new minimum level needed for my accounts and called to set up a time to help me merge accounts and resolve the issue. I appreciate her proactive assistance and friendly approach. Thank you Marietta and WF!

Balance requirements tripled

They started charging me monthly fees by tripling minimum balance requirements on secondary accounts. Calling back will NOT get you full refund. Please make sure your read every fine print on your statements unless you have money to throw away.

Wells Fargo has the worse customer…

Wells Fargo has the worse customer service I have ever delt with. I have been dealing with an issue for over a month with absolutely no help with numerous calls to customer service and to the branch itself. Not only do they pass the buck between online services and branch services they cannot even do the simplest of tasks without pushing it off onto someone else. I have been with Wells Fargo for over 20 years and I feel it is time to take my money elsewhere. I cannot remember one person ever saying anything good about them. The only reason we used them for so long was convenience. They need to do better or they will lose more customers.

They also don't like sending replacement cards , I've had to wait months because they rather pretend you never asked for a replacement card ... this bank is like signing up to be a part of the twilight zone !!!!
