Don't be Fooled...Well Palace Side is NOT a 5 Star Hotel!!
Do not get fooled, this hotel is barely a 3 star hotel.
On Tui booking website it says 5 stars for Well Palace Side Turkey, this is deceiving!
Food at this hotel was mediocre, same thing over and over, not very tasty to be honest. We had to go out and buy dinner and proper drinks. Only 1 type of beer in that hotel, Prosecco was aweful, cocktails were aweful. Ice cream, (when you can get it) was good. Desert in the coffee shop was mediocre.
On speaking to other guests, they felt the same way about this hotel regarding food and drinks.
We had booked 3 rooms. When we arrived, they didn't have 3 rooms as front desk said they were overbooked. How the heck can you Overbook??
They wanted to give us 1 shared family room with 1 toilet for 3 persons, and then another room for 1 person. Not until we got pissy with them at 10pm in the night did they find another room after 1 hour of waiting, and we were dead tired at 10pm after a long flight and from waking up early the previous morning to get to the airport.
The front desk check in girl at Well Palace Side was dismissive and rude on checking us in, she needs training in proper customer service!!
They wanted to give my 18 year old son a child band. After insisting he would be 19 years in 2 weeks, We had to make them remove the child band from him, for an adult one. Like really?
Rooms at this hotel were compatible to a 2 star hotel. No remote for the TV, damaged toilet seats, you can tell there is little maintenance of this room from the walls. The Room Cleaning lady was Excellent though, we tipped her well for her cleaning service.
My daughter who had a separate room had to leave 2 days early for an emergency back in the Uk. We did not check her out of the hotel. Little did we know that the hotel knew she left as we asked them to call a taxi to the airport for her, and without telling us they immediately gave the room to another guest without asking us. That room was paid for by us and we had the right to use it if we wanted by other people in our team. Very sneaky of the hotel to do this!
TUI and people wanting to book this hotel should take note that Well Palace Side is no way a 5 star hotel, we were deceived by the photos on Tui site to be honest, its certainly not what it portrays to be.
Certainly, We will Not be going back to that hotel whatsoever.
