I rented Welcombe Cottage for an 80th birthday surprise for my husband and our 12 children/ grandchildren for 4 days in March 2026. This property does not disappoint. The cottage smelt amazing. The heating was on and the lighting created a welcoming atmosphere. It’s modern, clean, beautifully decorated and has every amenity you’ll ever need. We wanted for nothing! Rooms are all equally spacious with most having en-suite bathroom/ toilet. The dining table comfortably seated 14 and the kitchen generously stocked with cooking utensils, glasses and crockery- 2 dishwashers and double settings for 14. The hot tub and outdoor area leading to games room was a sun trap, private and quiet. The pool immaculate and ambient temperature in mid March of 28 degrees. The countryside and local walks on the doorstep. We had a truly wonderful time and made memories that will last a lifetime. We would all highly recommend this little piece of paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Welcombe Cottage. The house & facilities are exactly as described & are maintained to a high standard.
It has proved again an excellent fun holiday venue for our large family party with ages ranging from 9 to 80!

A great cottage and quite location for 3 generation family holiday or celebration. Well fitted out with spread out bathrooms and bedrooms throughout. Pool, Hot tub and games room provide activities for all. Well appointed kitchen and dining room.
