I have been using Weightmedics for 8 months
I have been using Weightmedics for 8 months now. I have lost 37lbs which I am so pleased with.
The service is usually very speedy, however I do think they could work on the proactiveness of checking on customer progress and general customer service calls to ensure everything is running smoothly and repeat orders are dealt with in time so there are no gaps between dose's.

Weightmedics was a very professional…
Weightmedics was a very professional and well run organisation. They can sometimes be disorganized, not on top of their admin and send duplicate emails or templated emails that don't make sense for what you're dealing with. I always found the doctors to be thoughtful, thorough and caring about my weightloss journey. They are efficient about sending prescriptions, and updating you on delivery times. I enjoyed the experience, gained confidence from my weight loss, and will return to them if needs be again in the future.

I've been with Weight Medics more than a year now. There were time I stopped and came back again as in when I felt I'm a little out of control with my weight.
Never had any issue from speaking to the reception to the doctors. From day one, I lost in total of 9kg.

Started going with this clinic just after Covid and everything was virtual which was great as I don’t live in the area. Everything is straightforward but sometimes delivery is slow.

Great service. The staff and Doctor are very friendly and answered all my questions. They didn’t make me feel uncomfortable talking about my weight issues. They gave me be best advice that would be suitable to my needs and lifestyle.

fantastic when buying there most expensive deal. Nasty as hell other wise
Looked online seemed fantastic, book a video call consultation everything good got told I am eligible was sent medication through post everything seemed fine. There was a delay I. Getting medical records so next prescription was fine however things turned sour here. On signing up I went through medical history and all currently medication which was fine however we’ve. Medical record came through from my own GP I was told I was no longer eligible due to medication I am taking. Wait what I told u all medicines and all ok now all of a sudden I am not suitable can you please tell me why. I sign up for daily tablets the cheapest of there programs but still expensive per month. What they wanted me to do was go on to either daily or weekly injections which I refused to do because
1 there are £200 a month
2 it means injecting my self (not a hope in hell is that happening)
3. I have know a few people on these injection and the side effects manly chronic heart burn is not worth it
This is where there attitude changes from nice and friendly to extremely standoffish, very hostile and quite frankly RUDE. apparently they will not prescribe anything else to me apart from there injection take it or leave it.
I decided leave it. As I paid in advance for 3 months of program I asked about refund to which I was told I would get back when it’s back in my account and then they hung up on me. It took nearly 5 weeks for me to get my money back so I would definitely AVOID at all costs
Update. Due to account issues taking a while to sort out and other life issues this post was from 2022 and I could not go back to then but everything I have said stands

It appears there may have been a miscommunication regarding your eligibility based on the medical history and medications provided to us during your initial registration. We strive to ensure thorough understanding of each patient’s medical background to provide appropriate treatment. However, it seems there were undisclosed aspects of your medical history during the assessment, which impacted our ability to continue treatment with the prescribed tablets. As a result, our doctor recommended an alternative approach through GLP's.
Regarding the refund process, our aim is to handle refund requests promptly and efficiently. Upon review, we observed that you paid a £35 consultation fee in May 2022, which is typically non-refundable. However, as a goodwill gesture, we promptly refunded this amount to you a few days after.
Regarding your mention of a 3-month programme with Weight Medics, we did not find any record of your enrolment or payment for such a programme. If there are any further concerns or clarifications needed, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Their employee sold my credit card details, home address, and private info online
In August 2023, I bought a medication from WeightMedics, and I learned two days later one of their employees was selling my credit card details, home address and other info online. This was reported to the police: it's crime number 6557958/23. The company admitted in writing that I was not the only person whose details had been compromised online by the fraudster they employed.
I was extremely concerned by how the company handled this from the moment I contacted them. I wrote reviews online explaining my experience and, incredibly, they threatened to sue me for writing them, even though they had admitted my points in writing.
I really, really strongly recommend that you avoid this company. They are the worst company I have ever interacted with, by a long way.
PS In their reply to this review below, WeightMedics make several claims.
1. They claim that only 4 people were affected by the fraudster they employed who sold my credit card, health and personal details online. I have repeatedly asked them how they came up with this number. If the fraudster could access my details and sell them, what stopped him accessing the details of all their customers? When I visited their office he sat in front of the computer in their main office, where he presumably had access to everyone’s details.
They have refused to answer this question, despite me politely asking it several times. Their refusal to give any explanation makes me sceptical of this figure. If this had happened in your company and you were reputable people, you would answer questions like this, to reassure your customers.
As you’ll see below, they claim that they are refusing to answer this question to protect the privacy of the 4 people who were defrauded. This is insulting to the intelligence of everyone reading this review. It’s obvious I am not asking for any details of those people; I am asking a totally different question - how can they can possibly have established that +only+ four people were defrauded by the criminal they employed, when the number could be vastly more? This is significant - they have a legal responsibility to inform everyone whose details were compromised. What internal process established that the fraudster stole and sold my private info and that of three others, but stopped there and didn’t access the hundreds of other patients’ info?
The fact this company responds by evading the point should be a huge flashing red light to everyone thinking of buying from them.
2. They claim they acted promptly when alerted about this. In fact, when I phoned them to tell them that a member of their staff was selling my details online, I was shocked by their response. I was told by the person who eventually called me back that all I could do was email their generic company email address with my “concerns.” When I explained that the fraudster had access to that email address and I would like instead an address for the company director, he flatly refused to provide any other email address, and spoke to me with contempt.
It was only when I tracked down the details of senior employees via LinkedIn and messaged them there, explaining I was going to the police, that they began to show any concern so far as I could see.
3. You’ll notice that in their reply below, they don’t say sorry to me. They claim that they apologised when the event happened. This is a lie. They have never said sorry or apologised.
Please note that TrustPilot have reviewed the evidence for what I am saying here and marked it as “verified” - I.e. true.
Is this a company you want to give your money to - a company whose employee defrauded me, who refused to give me an email address to report it to that hadn’t been compromised by the fraudster, and then threatened to sue me for warning other people about this situation? There are plenty of other places providing the same services. I strongly urge you to choose them instead.

We are a patient-led clinic owned by Consultants from Guys Hospital, London, all of whom are actively engaged in the NHS. Our focus is on providing comprehensive weight loss services, and our goal is always the well-being and health outcomes of our patients. We have provided weight loss services for 40 years and treated over 60,000 patients. During that period, we had one employee who unbeknown to us committed fraud. We took immediate action by terminating the employee, notifying the Police, The CQC (Care Quality Commission, the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office), and the affected four individuals. You forget we too were also victims in this isolated and extremely unfortunate situation. While we deeply regret this isolated incident, it's essential to acknowledge that it affected only a small fraction of the many patients we have treated over the years.
Whilst we understand the gravity of your concerns. We have as you are aware been in contact with you since this incident came to our attention. We apologised wholeheartedly in August and our medical team continued to support you at your request until -November 2023, some 3 months after the incident. We sincerely regret any distress or inconvenience caused by the unfortunate incident you experienced. Our commitment to the security and well-being of our patients is paramount.
Regarding your specific points:
1. We understand your scepticism regarding the number of individuals affected by the incident. The figure of four individuals was based on our thorough investigation, which included identifying potentially impacted parties. We are unable to disclose specific details to protect the privacy of those involved. You've mentioned to us that you're a journalist planning to cover this incident and are seeking information for your article's publication. Unfortunately, we're unable to assist you with this request. We acknowledge your concern and frustration, and we are continuously reviewing our security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
2. We apologise if you felt our initial response was not adequate. A director within our business called you the very moment they were made aware of your concerns.

My Daughter and I contacted Weightmedics last month as we were interested in starting the weight loss treatment phentermine. The initial phone call with the receptionist was helpful, he explained the process throughly and sent us all the details by email quickly. Within 2 days I had my zoom call with the DR, she was professional , very understanding and discussed my issues I have had with trying to loose weight. After I was approved I was able to pick up my medication the following day. Overall
