Weebods 

Trust: The reason for one star is because I wouldn't be able to vent my totally disappointment in Weebods. I gave them over $250.00+ back in May of 2021. After many exchanges with email still nothing. After contacting the Weebods Team on 5 Jan 22. I did receive a quick templated email stating "Unfortunately Weebods Limited Has ceased trading and gone to liquidation. The liquidators will be in touch in due course." We'll see.

Ordered a Portrait for my granddaughter last June. A few months later received a message apologizing that my ordered had been canceled. I paid over $100. No refund. No response.

This crowd of gangsters get worse . I but In a dispute with the bank to get my money back as I never received the goods . They actually declined my dispute . So the bank took the money again . According to the bank Weebods don’t need to give a reason why they declined it .

Just adding to the many who have been scammed. Ordered a weebod for my mother for Mother’s Day. In September we were still in communication waiting for the correct art to arrive. Eventually they stopped answering my emails altogether. Would love a refund just not sure how to go about getting it from a company that stops responding. Now they’ve taken down their social media. Not surprised. Martin is a crook. I really wish there was a way for him to be punished for this kind of nonsense. If they ever take orders again, do not fall for it.

I had 3 made as Christmas gifts and they turned out awesome!!! Great company to work with!

Beware, this company is a scam. The same thing that happened to everyone else, happened to me. I just disputed the charge with my credit card company and they refunded me immediately.

After making me wait for 4 months (instead of the promised 40 days), they had the audacity to send an email saying they have cancelled my order! And instead of refunding, they said that I can go to the bank to reclaim my money.
How on earth will the bank refund my £125, which was paid through a debit card, after 4 months? I am outraged and astounded by their audacity! Someone please advise if there is a way I can get my money back!

I ordered 4 pictures in April of 2021 for Christmas. I had some contact with the company about design and changes. Then I actually did receive 2 of my pictures in October. They are cute. However, I never received the other 2. No response and I've emailed and emailed. I'll be trying to get my $ back.

Horrible customer service...they just stopped responding! But even worse, I ordered in May and in November decided enough was enough and got my money back through PayPal. Buyer Beware!!!!

Matt, I suggest you look at Action Fraud Police UK on Trustpilot before parting with any of your money as their reviews a damning 95% One Star out of 557 reviews. They are not the "Police" an from reviews they don't actually take any "Action" either.

I ordered a Weebods Portrait but like everyone else received an email stating that they ran the company into the ground...needless to say I placed my order through PayPal so I'm hoping ii can get my money back !
Did anyone else pay with PayPal..and if so have you been reimbursed?

THEY SHUT SHOP AND DIDN'T REFUND CUSTOMERS ANY MONEY. MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ORDERS SINCE MAY AND THEY NOTIFIED EVERYONE IN NOVEMBER AFTER STRINGING THEM ALONG THAT THEIR ORDERS WERE IN PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING SOON.

I paid for my order back in August . It did state that I wouldn’t get it until November. I got a long email this morning stating I wouldn’t be getting my order and to contact my CC he signed the email “ I am truly sad deeply sorry”

I honestly think this individual knew his Company was in trouble and still took my money .

I live in California, any suggestion how to sue him from here in England? So upset... it is only 150usd but I am very upset with his email and if he needs to learn a lesson I will do my part.
**Well seems my credit card and PayPal accepted the email and refund me. I guess he will have to deal with those companies suing them on our behalf.

I ordered one of these in April and received it in late July. It’s a great product. I ordered another one through their promotion for the holiday with “guaranteed delivery” by the end of the year. Then I receive an email saying the company is closing, but the cherry on top is that Martin doesn’t even say he will be issuing refunds. He’s telling the customers to get in touch with the cc companies to get your money back. I feel bad he managed his marketing and advertising poorly but not that he wasn’t honest with customers.

I ordered in july … hot an wmail ststing a delay finally got a dedign to approve in sep … today rwceived an email saying order not being fullfilled but no refund … email went in to say they are goid people and not a scam …..
well i doubtl good people and probably a scam .. avoid at all costs .. funny i received a generic email last week advertising order now for xmas delivery

I wouldn’t give a single star I am fuming that I have spent so much money, back in may this year as a Father’s Day present with a 40 day delivery estimate. 6 months on and I was still requesting and receiving updates that my product was about to be delivered. As of two days ago before the collapse of the company they were sending out discount for Xmas orders and Black Friday. Disgusting.
I have requested my order which was by their account completed yet I still hadn’t received or my money.
Fraud

I've reported Weebods to Trading Standards, it's funny how all their staff look like they've switched jobs (linkedin) from 1st Nov 2021 so looks like the company has gone under. Nothing showing up on Company's House yet though.

Ordered on 30th October as a Christmas present. Iv emailed no reply, direct messages no reply, I called the number and a man answered very sketchy, he gave the phone to a lady who said hello and then hung up after I queried my order. Instagram page has now been deleted and my phone number blocked!

I am forced to give 1 star but this company does not deserve any stars. Ordered in Aug 2021 but had not gotten a response about my order status since giving my comments on the design blueprint in Sep 2021. Pls DO NOT buy anything from this company. Its clearly a scam...
