I sent this company over 90 cds in full working order there might have had the odd scuff to a case but nothing to make them unsellable !!! They sent me an email saying they could only pay for 50 and they were keeping tbethe rest anyway? If no good why should they keep my property? They offered me 17 pounds for the rest? What a kick in tbethe teeth!! Read their t and c's and it says if any are damaged we are unable to pay.... Not we wont send u them back... I have taken copies as im gonna contact trading standards.... I checked every cd before they left it took me 2 weeks and they all worked.... Thinking i should have used music magpie for def even if they are less money at least their honest and don't scam you!!!
would not send them nothing
this company totally ripped us of we sent nearly 250 dvds/cds they said it was nearly 100 pound on the internet once we sent them they offered us 40 pound wen I said I reject the offer they said I got no option stay away from this company totally
Perfect, despite the cheap website!
I used webuydvds.co.uk to recycle 56 items, a mix of dvds and cds. They offered a slightly better price than any of their competitors and a quick Google for reviews reassured me that they were trustworthy, so I went ahead and placed my order.
As I had over 50 items I was offered free courier collection, which went without hitch, items were picked up the following day. A few days later I received an email notifying me that my items had arrived at the company's warehouse, then within an hour I had received another email to let me know that all 56 items had passed the quality checks and that a cheque would be sent out shortly. Three days later I received the cheque. The entire process took only one week to complete. Perfect!
I have to admit I was slightly wary before and during the order process. The website looks incredibly cheap and there were a number of spelling and grammatical errors in correspondence I was sent, the constant misuse of the word 'been' in place of 'being' being the main one, giving the impression of a lack of professionalism. I suggest the company might want to look into this as I fear it may put many people off using the company.
My only other slight negative is the lack of an option to have payment transferred directly into a bank account rather than by cheque.
I notice a few reviews of this company that complain about the number of items failing quality checks. All I can say is just stick to the rules and you will be fine. I checked all my items for marks and scratches before sending off and I removed price labels from the cases, wiping away any marks that they had left. All my items passed.
All in all a great company. I'd most certainly use them again. Just get a more professional website!
Should be called WeStealDVDs.co.uk
I used this site for the first time last week and sent a box of approax 20 DVD's where they were offering a decent price. Some of them (of which some of the most expensive box sets) were judged by WeBuyDVD's as not suitable for them to sell and the money I will be receiving is therefore about half of what I was promised. So far, I have no problems.
I therefore contact customer service to ask when they will be sending back the ones they don't want to buy from me, and they say they will not send them back "as per their terms and conditions". So they now have my property for which they're not paying me anything. I call that theft and stealing as I have absolutely no doubt these "unsuitable DVD's will find their way to Amazon or eBay even in the supposedly not as good condition.
Use this site at your peril. If your DVD's are not good enough for them, you will not get a penny for them. Other sites will send them back to you.

Fast courier pick up, fast quality check & quick payment.
I found the on a whole WeBuyDvds.co.uk offered a immense amount more than any-other recycling company.
One example is:
Tenko : Complete BBC Series Box Set
Music-magpie offered me:£0.30
Webuydvds offered me:£19.20
A courier came 2 days after i put my items on their site, and they were polite and friendly on the phone when arranging the pick up.
i was told 3 of my items failed the quality check, and if i could double check my address and after a further 2 days my cheque came.
Great website
I first got a quote from musicmagpie.co.uk but find that webuydvds.co.uk pay more and after looking at musicmapgie.co.uk reviews, I am glad I did not use them.
After sending my collection off to Webuydvds.co.uk I got an email letting me know that my items had arrived and within one day my payment was issued. Perfect fast service and I would highly recommend them as I have done with all my family.
