No communication, no quality control

My first order was cancelled with no communication with me. When I went on to the site to see why it had not arrived and found it was cancelled, I ordered an alternative device. Both orders then showed as 'picking'. Having contacted them to find out what was going on they then sent the laptop out with a broken plug. I have absolutely no faith in their quality control or customer service any more.

While processing the first order, the staff noticed that the item was missing and hence, it was dropped. This is not the type of experience we would like our customers to have and be assured, feedback has been shared with the store management for procedural assessment.

Easy to order

Great product at great price

Great product at great price. Purchased a condition "A" used phone. Looked new, all original packaging, and I couldn't tell it had actually been out of the packet. Very happy. Arrived no issues.

Issue eventually resolved, but required persistence.

I had a trade-in from January 2025 that was never paid due to account verification issues. When I returned to resolve it, my case was initially dismissed and I was told the item had been recycled.
After pushing back and explaining the situation in detail, the case was escalated and properly reviewed. At that point, the support team were much more helpful and worked to resolve it.
I did receive a payout in the end, although it was slightly lower than the original offer (about £6 less), which I accepted to close the matter.
Overall, a positive outcome, but it took quite a bit of effort to get there. Customer service at the initial stage could definitely be improved.

Wouldn't use again!

An easy and fairly quick process, though not fairly graded. Condition of sold item was unfairly regraded when there was no flaws or scratches at all as stated in email - only sold as needed to pay a bill, CEX has already had item for two weeks so needed to just put an end to the process. Wouldn't use again!

don’t sell to CEX waste of time
