I meet great new friends and I had a lot of fun

My son had the best time, it was more fun than he expected and he got so much out the experience. I would recommend any student to go, and for parents it is really good value for money. Great job by everyone involved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I attended the bideford NCS experience and had an amazing time. I was slightly worried no knowing many people and also being a year older than most other people (year 12), however thanks to the great staff and interactive group leaders, I quickly got stuck into each activity and got to know all 14 others in my group. I thought the days were very well planned, allowing enough time to rest and relax with people at lunch time and in the evening whilst also keeping busy throughout the rest of the day. One of my main goal when going was to gain some confidence socially which I can confidently say NCS has helped me with. I also feel more motivated at home, doing more than I normally would. I would recommend going as it is definitely worth your time and money, despite the food not being the best you’ve ever seen! Thank you to Finley, Oscar, Gigi, Kyan, Sophia, Michael, Harry and all the staff at the bideford ultimate adventure centre for a great time that will also help my chances of creating an attractive CV!

This place is shambolic; a disappointment. Dirty. The 5 days my daughter was there not once was a cleaner seen, whilst the dustbins in the bathroom overflowed. The food is mediocore at best, and tiny portions that are meant to feed growing teenagers.
Do yourself a favour and save your money. My kid was so looking forward to it, never had i seen such negativity from her. Its nothing like its advertised.
However the staff are really nice, they are young kids themselves (19 year olds) who dont know what's going on half the time, this is not their fault, NCS lies! Half the activities promised were not offered, or did not exist. You were not allowed any water based activities and the whole place was disorganised. However the majority of the activities that they did do were fun! Nevertheless a lot of the time was spent waiting around.

They said we would be in dorms inside with a floor for boys and a floor for girls, but when we arrived we were in tent like cabins outside. They said that we would be doing kayaking and raft building and would have a chance to be on the beach but later said we would be doing no water sports and weren’t allowed on the beach. the NCS team did not show up for the session we were promised and so we were made to sit around for the morning.

Booked and paid deposit, heard nothing. A few months later received an email saying my daughter was on the waitlist. I called and enquired about other dates and decided to stick with original date and a place on the waitlist. I then received an email to say she had a place. When I called asking for further details-the incorrect dates were confirmed. These would never have been dates we had chosen as we are not even in the country. Apparently, she cannot go on the waitlist for the dates we had originally booked her in for. Shambolic organisation.

Signed up in February, paid £95 and didn’t hear anything then received email today saying the programme was full and that my daughter was on a waiting list. I rang and was told she and her friend could transfer to another programme where there were plenty of places. I provisionally agreed to swap pending approval for my daughter’s friend. When daughters friend tried to swap she was told that the programme was full! We have both now cancelled and requested a refund as the whole thing is clearly very badly managed. NCS used to be well organised.

Booked and paid in February and told 8 weeks later that on the waiting list.
Admin is an absolute shambles resulting in a disappointed teen.

I had so so much fun at Kingswood with NCS. I made connections with people I didn't know that well and had so much fun. Big thanks to Angelica, Josh, Nathaniel and Olamide (sorry don't know how to spell it) for making an already memorable trip unforgettable.

My young person totally enjoyed herself on the NCS program, made new friends, explored and willing to do it again. They did different activities.
She will be meeting with the group again.

Best 5 days ever, our team leader was so kind an made sure everyone got involved, me and 3 of my friends spent the week in kingswood dearne valley and had the best time, we did archery, quick zip and high ropes, the food wasn’t that good and the cups weren’t very clean but everything else was pretty much amazing.
