Too much salt. Bread didn’t taste half as good as expected. Very average product.

First try, few issues

I recently ordered several items from good in bread to try for a trip away and while overall products where good quality, there are areas that need improvement in their service. Firstly, there was a lack of delivery information provided on the date, which was surprising as up until that point the delivery company interface looked really good with great delivery detail and options that could be made. However, I got mine really late which is fine as it says it can be up until 6.30pm, but I couldn’t track or see when my delivery was / the status to check it was actually even on route, and this was all post 6pm so couldn’t contact Good in bread - which made it difficult for me to plan around receiving my order.

Additionally, upon receiving my order, I noticed that some items were incorrect, and others were missing. While this was disappointing, I did get a quick response to my email, but it was too late for my plans to have a redelivery a day or 2 later as offered. A refund was issued promptly for the missing items.

Overall, I believe good in bread has the potential to provide excellent service, bread was good, pastries where okay, but there is room for improvement in their delivery partner and order accuracy. I hope they take this feedback constructively and work towards ensuring a smoother experience for their customers. I’d probably try them again

Over the past few weeks, we have been working with our courier partner to ensure customer communications are smoother and clearer throughout the day of the delivery so that customers are able to plan their days accordingly. We agree that this is far from ideal. In terms of the incorrect items, that is absolutely our bad and just so you know, we are constantly trying to improve the way our ordering processes work.
