Attrocious Warranty Process

I am filing this complaint against Wayne Dalton regarding their failure to honor a Limited Lifetime Warranty on a Model 9100 Series (Sonoma) garage door and their deliberate obstruction of the warranty claim process.I purchased my home as new construction in June 2020 and am the original homeowner. The garage door is a Wayne Dalton 9100 Series (Sonoma), which carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty against panel deterioration and structural failure. After five years of normal use, one panel failed due to normal wear and tear. When I attempted to file a warranty claim, Wayne Dalton directed me to authorized dealers. I contacted three authorized dealers in total. One refused to assist because they did not originally install the door. The other two inspected the door, confirmed the panel failure, informed me the Sonoma model has been discontinued with no replacement panels available, and directed me back to Wayne Dalton. Wayne Dalton then directed me back to the dealer network. This back and forth happened multiple times. The original installer is no longer in business. No party ever provided a formal warranty determination. After months of being bounced between Wayne Dalton and their dealer network with no resolution, I gave up pursuing the warranty claim and replaced the door with a competing brand at my own expense. I believe this runaround is a deliberate strategy to avoid honoring warranty obligations.
