Wonderful customer service
I bought a leash and it came quick for my next water activity.
I used it a few times and did a great job for me.
Unfortunately yesterday I had a hard fall in the water and the leash did not resist the tension. I took a photo and email customer services last night and this morning I got a reply that a new one had been posted to me..... I was shocked in a positive way, expecting to have to argue etc.... great experience

We purchased a wave voyager and got a puncture on the seam of the floor we contacted wave out of hours to see if we could get a replacement and received a message back within an hour from Sophie offering support, after just a few photos and emails they are sending out a new floor free of charge as its within warranty, can't praise them or their customer service enough, would highly recommend their kayaks to anyone, great product, great company, outstanding customer service thank you

Loving the design and stability of my Wave Woody but I'm on my third pump! Quality of the board appears to be really good but the pump supplied is not fit for purpose. The customer support (Jessica & Antias) has been excellent in responding, sending out new pumps and actioning a small refund. Hopefully No.3 will be up to the job 🤞

My two brothers and I all ordered the same paddle board at the same time and all of us bent the paddles within the first few uses. Mine bent on the first use and snapped by the third. My brother’s valve released some air whilst inflating which makes it hard work, but it’s workable. I asked customer service if they would give me a discount on a new carbon paddle but instead of answering my question they sent me a replacement aluminium paddle, despite them clearly not working. The responses from customer service repeatedly failed to answer my direct questions and were inconsistent.

UPDATE TO REVIEW on 28/08/25 – Following my original review, Wave asked me to contact them, claiming a “senior team member” would handle my case. In reality, the replies I received felt automated, which only reinforced my concern that Wave have little genuine interest in customer care.
Their solution? First, they offered me 5% off a new board. When I pointed out how inadequate this was, they raised it to 10% as a so-called “gesture of goodwill.” To frame that as me not "accepting the support we offered” is misleading as there has been no support offered at all. At no point have they acknowledged the poor quality of their product or taken responsibility for the fact that a seam failure on their board put my children at risk on the water.
Yes, my board was out of warranty — but a company that truly cared about quality and safety would stand behind their products. Instead, Wave’s approach feels like little more than damage control.
My advice: if you’re tempted by an inexpensive paddleboard, think twice. In my experience, Wave is little more than a drop-shipping operation with poor build quality and worse support. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
ORIGINAL REVIEW - Review of Wave SUPs – Classic SUP Package
I bought a Wave Classic SUP package directly from the Wave website in December 2022. Unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing from both a product quality and customer service point of view.
The pump broke on its third use. I emailed Wave at the time (June 2024) but received no reply at all.
After only five uses, the seam on the paddleboard burst while I was on the water with my 8-year-old. Thankfully we were able to get back to shore safely, but this could easily have been far more serious. Our use is normally very light on calm waters as we have small children.
When I contacted Wave, they refused to repair or replace the board, insisting it was “out of warranty,” and offered only a repair patch. A patch is already included in the box with the SUP, so this was essentially no offer at all.
I raised the issue under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires products to be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable length of time. A board failing after just 5 uses clearly does not meet that standard.
In the end, Wave left me no choice but to escalate the matter through my credit card provider under Section 75.
It’s very disappointing that a company selling safety-critical leisure equipment has such poor quality control and after-sales support. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others against buying from Wave.

Navigator kayak. Great product, excellent value for money. The carrier backpack needs stronger buckles (broke after 3rd use) and the hooks on the side of the kayak can get in the way of the person paddling at the back. Minor details for an overall excellent product.

We ordered a Recon paddle board, it arrived next day as promised, packaged really well and seemed a high quality material.
We have used it 4 times so far and it was easy to set up and pack away. The kids love it and it’s going to give us many happy memories together.
Customer service has been really good too, responses were quick and very helpful. Particularly helpful were Riyad and Esther.
Will 100% be looking at getting another board from Wave for the kids to use on their own when the time is right!

We ordered our paddle board on Friday and it arrived on Saturday! Unpacked and blew the board up and it all looks great. There was a small rip on the pocket of the carry bag so I emailed in the evening and by the next morning I had a reply from Sophie to say that they would send out a new bag straight away. Brilliant service, can't wait to get out on the water!
