I've been chasing them to get answers, and I guess my support ticket is being passed around to a new digital assistant with each response. That's the only way I can make sense of such a disjointed experience.

Complaint 16.02.2026 below is my reply to watery.
I placed an order with Watery on 26 January 2026. The website advertises delivery within 2–4 days in 99% of cases. Unfortunately, more than three weeks later, my package has still not been delivered.
The tracking information has shown no meaningful movement for weeks. Despite this, Watery refuses to issue a refund or send a replacement until the package is “officially declared lost” by the carrier — a process that can take up to 30 days.
As a customer, this is extremely disappointing. The responsibility for delivery lies with the seller, not the buyer. Waiting indefinitely while they conduct an internal investigation is not a reasonable solution.
Customer service responses are polite, but they repeat policy instead of offering a real resolution.
If the package still does not arrive by Friday, I will be forced to escalate the matter through my payment provider and consumer protection channels.
I hope Watery reconsiders its approach, because this experience does not match the professional image presented on their website.

Thank you for your reply and for acknowledging that the responsibility lies with you as the seller.
However, after reviewing many other Trustpilot reviews, it is clear that my situation is not an isolated case. There are multiple customers reporting:
• Packages stuck with no tracking updates
• Waiting several weeks
• Being told to wait for a 30-day carrier investigation
• Delayed refunds despite no delivery
When this pattern appears repeatedly, it raises concerns about the reliability of the chosen delivery partner and the internal handling process.
I understand carriers have procedures. But as a customer, my contract is with Watery.nl — not with your carrier. If the tracking shows no meaningful movement for weeks, the reasonable solution is either:
1. Immediate replacement shipment, or
2. Immediate refund
Waiting 30 days for a carrier investigation should not be the customer’s financial burden.
I am still expecting a clear and concrete solution rather than another escalation process.
I hope this can now be resolved properly.

Company has very good reviews. But be aware, if your package gets lost during shipping, they think it's normal to make you wait 30 days until taking any further action. As a customer, i was blown away by this fact, i paid a lot of money, have already waited for 18 (!) days and still got no package. And they tell me to just wait for 12 (!) more days before they can take any further action. On top of that they do not allow me to cancel the order, untill they have sorted stuff out with the carrier. Any other webshop would be client friendly and know professionally that trouble with the carrier is their problem to solve and wait on, and not the customers. So be very aware that everything is at your own risk, watery just makes you wait and denies you the right to cancel within the 30 days. On trustpilot you see watery responding on other reviews like mine, (which shows you i am not the only one with this problem) saying to contact the company to resolve it. But that doesn't work! You get same story when you get in touch; wait until the 30 days are over. It just looks nice on trustpilot that they responded with a nice message. They just don't understand that people think the way they operate is unfair, problems with the carrier are theirs to deal with, not the customers.
Sidenote: the people at the customer service line are very friendly! But they cannot really help you because of the policies set bij watery, their hands are tied.

I placed an order on Watery.nl over 4 weeks ago and still haven’t received my items. Despite multiple messages and even requests from them to review products I never got, I’ve received no meaningful update. The tracking hasn’t moved in days, and the lack of clear communication is deeply disappointing. I was forced to buy the items elsewhere and now worry I won’t get a refund. Based on this experience, I seriously question the company’s reliability, it feels unprofessional at best, and possibly a scam. This was my first and likely last order.

After 2 weeks still have not received the order, support from Watery.nl says they wait for transport company investigation. Only then they can cancel the order. On the website of watery.nl it states that delivery is 2-3 days, ordered wetsuit for children 5 days before going on holidays.
Update: the money was returned sooner after my unsatisfied review on trustpilot. I give them one star more

I ordered a wetsuit, it arrived, no problem. The zip broke on the first use rendering the suit useless. Following the returns policy I returned the suit... And never heard another thing. It was picked up in Germany by watery, that you can see in the tracker... However despite several emails, I get zero response. I'm disappointed because I have ordered a lot in the past and been quite happy. Processes can go wrong, but to get no response from multiple emails is not forgiveable

I looked at lots of brands before settling on this one and i’m glad i did.
I order the set and was sent quite fast. The dhl had soem delay but thats dhl problem.
When i received my sups i noticed ine small fin was bended . I swnt an email and literally in less then a minute i got an answer and advice thst the fin comes back and gave me tips. And it it came back so all i fine.
I went supping and i love it. The boards are really stable. And my 2 and half years old loves it too. He sits nicely on my sup.
Overall we are very happy with the purchase

I placed my order with the clear understanding that delivery would take 3 to 4 business days. However, as of April 14th—six days after the tracking last updated on April 8th—there has been no progress, no delivery, and no meaningful update.
I reached out to customer service and was told that a ticket had been opened with their delivery department, but that it could take up to 30 days for a response. This is entirely unacceptable—especially when their own website states that if a package appears stuck for more than two weekdays, their support team will respond within a few hours (or 24 hours at most), and if the package is lost, a new one will be sent immediately.
Instead, I received a vague apology and was told to simply wait. No ownership of the issue, no follow-up, and no alternative offered—despite clear evidence that the package is likely lost.
Watery.nl’s handling of this issue falls far below what I would expect from a professional retailer. Their customer service has not lived up to the promises on their own website, and the response has been entirely passive.
This experience has left me incredibly disappointed, and I hope it serves as a wake-up call for the company. Customers deserve clear communication, proactive support, and timely solutions—not excuses and delays.

The wetsuit was great. The delivery information was a little confusing, but it arrived in the end.
The girls were very happy with the mermaid tails! Everything was delivered quickly, highly recommended.

I have mixed feelings about Watery.
I placed an order for the Zone3 products, and the sizing was based on China measurements, which gave me the impression that this is another drop-shipper :(.
Nicoline was really quick to respond, however again, you can return items, but it is a cost to get a refund, so you are forced to buy items [reluctantly] again and pay for shipment again. In the process of the replacement purchase, I cant get a refund voucher, so have to pay again, and hope that I will see my refund. Mmmm, not my ideal shopping experience. Their contact number shown on the Returns site, is also disconnected....
So, I have a mixed feeling about this company. If it was not for Nicoline Drejer's quick response today, I would have definitely not replaced my order OR give them 2 starts.
