Very poor customer service and faulty bath

I ordered a Coast bath from our local bathroom company. Because we needed the bath quickly, we ordered it a day ahead of the taps. We were not made aware of the option to upgrade to the waste/ fill system at the time of the order, which would have cost £90. A day later, I ordered the waste/ fill system and paid £150 for this. I assumed that when I returned the bath overflow, I would be refunded the £60.

I contacted the company to discuss this. I spoke to someone who gave me a lot of incorrect information which i checked with my plumber, who confirmed to be incorrect. I called back and spoke to another member of staff who was just rude. She explained that it is the company policy to only offer the £90 uplift for the overflow/ fill system if purchased at the same time. I explained that it was literally the next day. I felt this was unreasonable given i had just paid around £1400 for the bath. The person I spoke to said that my contract was with the bathroom company I'd bought it from and nothing to do with Waters of Ashbourne. It felt very dismissive with a complete lack of accountability. The company I bought the bath from couldn't refund me, as they were just charging what Waters charged them.

On the day of the install, our plumber found 2 x faults with the bath, one of which was significant, which meant he was unable to install it. The bath had to be returned to the company and another bath was ordered. I spoke to the bathroom company I bought the bath from and advised them that I would return the overflow/ fill back with the bath, and then Waters of Ashbourne could issue the new bath plus overflow/ fill at EXACTLY the same time, so as to meet their very strict criteria. However, it transpired that this was not necessary, and Waters of Ashbourne would indeed refund the £60, as they could now miraculously do this.
As for us, our plumber can fortunately return to install the bath next week, however, our tiler isn't available for another fortnight, or possibly longer if his baby arrives early.

If you would like to buy a bath from a company who are reasonable, and you don't get the feeling you are being robbed, I would suggest avoiding this one.

Coloured Cove bath

Ordered a coloured Cove bath (deep blue) ...Company said 6 weeks plus delivery and it was 6 weeks. The company kept us informed of its progress throughout via Homesupply. It looks fabulous and is pretty solid. Only hitch was the delivery company brought the wrong bath (so worth checking order when it arrives), but that was sorted quickly and it arrived on the last day which was actually perfect timing for my plumbers. Cant seem to add a photo

I spent ages looking for a bath that…

I spent ages looking for a bath that had the appearance of a free standing bath but was actually similar to a conventional bath where it butts up to the wall.

The Coast bath by Waters was the only one I could find that was of great quality and fitted the brief.

We love it now it's fitted and it's the perfect size for a soak!

We absolutely love our Waters bath

We absolutely love our Waters bath, fell in love with one when staying in a holiday home and made sure that we had one once we renovated our bathroom. It’s the perfect centrepiece as it’s so beautiful to look at!

Perfect from start to finish.

Where can I start? I absolutely love our Waters Baths bath. We opted for the Waters Ebb bath (1590mm) which is the perfect combination of fixed and freestanding. We have quite a small bathroom, but I didn't want that to stop us from having it feel luxurious. The Ebb bath is fixed at one end, but is beautifully curved at the other, giving the illusion of a freestanding bath. I could not be happier.

We also have the Waters Elements Breeze countertop basin in matt white (I've always preferred matt over gloss, but they also do a lovely gloss version).. It's solid, a great shape and easy to clean.

On top of that, the customer service from the team. Claire and Lee has been nothing short of amazing. I would 100% recommend Waters baths.

Watersbath fit for a Grand Designs House

I wanted an excellent quality bath. me being me I researched and researched. The quality, composition and design of a Watersbath is second to none. I also liked that I was supporting an independent UK business. The whole process - I mean how do you choose - I was helped expertly by Claire. The ordering, delivery was very smooth.
I love my bath, It sits in pride of place in my gorgeous bathroom.

Although we’ve only had our breeze bath…

Although we’ve only had our breeze bath and basin for a month or so we couldn’t be more delighted with them. The Matt finish is stunning and it feels like such a high quality piece of kit. We’ve been equally impressed with the communication of Waters Baths, who have been quick and helpful on the odd question we’ve had for example about maintenance, likewise with Bathrooms Direct Yorkshire who we purchased our Waters items through. Would thoroughly recommend both companies with the experience we have had up until this point.

Quality made baths

We didn't purchase direct from Waters Baths but we have not been disappointed by our beautiful bath. Our 'Breeze' bath has been very well made and we would certainly recommend.

Excellent Customer Service at Waters

We've had one of the Waters Elements collection baths in our bathroom since we had it refitted a few years ago and have been very happy with it - great looking bit of furniture.

Recently, we had a small problem with the product and contacted Waters directly who have been nothing but exemplary from start to finish in their handling of the problem and helping us to come to a solution - I've been really impressed with everyone there that I've had correspondence with and their customer service has been outstanding.

I'd highly recommend them as a company to work with.

Excellent Products and Customer Service

I purchased a Waters Ebb bath from a retailer (Sanctuary Bathrooms) which was delivered at the end of February. For various reasons due to Covid, suppliers going bankrupt and shortages of materials, the bath remained wrapped in its original packaging in our house waiting to be installed. When my builder unwrapped the bath we discovered a large crack in the panel. I immediately contacted Sanctuary Bathrooms, sending pictures of the defective bath and asking for a replacement.

I followed up on several occasions by phone to the customer services department of Sanctuary Bathrooms but was not able to get a satisfactory response. Eventually, I contacted Waters (the manufacturer) directly. The person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and promised to despatch a replacement bath immediately to the retailer. The replacement bath was delivered within a few days.

I just wanted to thank Waters for their professionalism and excellent customer service. Despite this not being their direct responsibility, they were sympathetic to the situation that I was in and wanted to rectify the defect.

The bath is now installed and looks fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend their products and the company itself.
