Great swimming teachers
We’ve been swimming with Water Babies since our son was just a few months old, and his confidence in the water has come on leaps and bounds. Our teacher is exceptional—so encouraging, patient, and truly wonderful with the children. The lesson plans are always engaging, well-structured, and genuinely fun for the kids.
The Whiteley facility is very good overall, featuring a fantastic underwater viewing window where you can watch the little ones swimming under the surface! My only small constructive feedback is that a few of the baby changing units currently need repairing. Aside from that, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Water safety and confidence
Child no 4 in waterbabies. I have seen it all with wobbles, no underwater, refusal to get into the pool / off the steps. All challenges met with care and compassion from teachers and admin. All my kids love water but are cautious yet confident. Some amazing teachers over the years

Highly recommend!
Our son has been swimming with Water Babies since he was 4 months old (now 21 months) and his confidence in the water has grown immense since we began. He doesnt particularly enjoy going underwater, however each teacher we have had, has never pushed him and gone with his speed. The teachers do have a lesson plan each week to follow, however they also follow the childrens lead which is lovely to see. Highly recommend

I would recommend Water Babies to any parent!!
I would recommend Water Babies to any parent. The program is incredible. We started taking our daughter when she was 3 months. Within a few months she is able to hold herself afloat if she was in an accident. What is also amazing is she uses this hold on skill out of the water (when shopping and sitting in a trolly). The confidence she has gained in the water is beautiful. Worth every penny.

Super swimming!
My baby has been swimming with water babies since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 3. He has complete confidence in the water and has learnt so much over the years. The teachers are knowledgable and caring. We have had a few issues with cancellations however, Clare, has gone above and beyond to resolve this issue. She is a superstar and my little one loves her!

We’ve attended three lessons so far for our four month old and he is already thriving! He has so much more confidence to play and splash at bath time and when we are on the poolside waiting for his lesson to start he is itching to get in. We’re very grateful to our instructor Vicki who is very welcoming and informative - she really helped soothe the anxiety of allowing our baby to be submerged underwater! She makes every lesson a fun and interactive time for our little one and couldn’t be happier with the progress our son has shown already. Thank you so much Vicki!!

Love waterbabies at Freeways, Leigh Woods. The pool is amazingly warm and chelsie is a great teacher and our daughter absolutely loves it and gets more confident every week!

We do apologise for the recent pool closure at your venue. We are thrilled that we are back, and the new pool liner and maintenance that was urgently required, has now been fixed. We hope you're thrilled with the fresh new look there. When a pool requires maintenance it can interfere with a little one's continuous progress, especially when unexpected, so we do apologise for the 5-week pause.
If you ever struggle to use your courtesy passes in other pools, you're very welcome to give us a call, as sometimes, we may see more from our side.
Another Exeter pool is also coming back onboard with other options in the autumn.

Swimvincibles & Water Babies
My 5 year old has been attending Water Babies since he was 9 months. We’ve found it an incredibly bonding experience. This year he has moved to the next stage in his swimming lessons- Swimvincibles. It was a big transition at his age but he is loving it and thanks to Mhairi for all support and encouragement. I continue to attend Water Babies with my 3 year old and she loves her classes with Paul at the Nuffield, Milngavie. It really is the best early to start for a child to gain swimming confidence. Couldn’t recommend it more- thanks to all the Water Babies team!

The best use of your child benefit…
I was a tad skeptical about the cost of WB being worth it. But honestly, this is the one class we do. He loves it, I love it and it’s worth every penny. We tried other LA classes but the combo of great instruction, the most suitable pools and small classes beats it every time.

We absolutely love water babies and couldn’t recommend it more for little ones to build confidence in the pool. My little boy started 8ish weeks ago and wasn’t sure at first but really looks forward to going now and I love how confident he’s getting. The staff are amazing and the quality of teaching is outstanding.
