I have been fortunate enough to have owned a Rolex for many years. A Submariner for 47 years and a Double Red Sea Dweller for 44 years. Parting with them was difficult but Kevin made the process much easier. He is fair and professional. He does what he promises. I will certainly continue to do business with him.

Sold my 28 year old gold Rolex Day-Date to Kevin for a fair price, without the hassle of trying to sell it on Kijiji or sell it on consignment locally.
He paid for overnight Fedex shipping to Calgary. The funds were deposited to my bank account the same day he received the watch. Communication was excellent. I would not hesitate to deal with him again.

Sold my Rolex DateJust with Watchex. It was an easy and efficient process. After receiving a valuation price via email from Kevin Shiel and agreeing to the sale, he emailed me a prepaid FedEx shipping label which I printed out at home. The FedEx store also provided a free box for shipping as the included insurance required that the watch be shipped in a box and not a padded envelope. I included a VOID personal cheque with the package to facilitate an EMT. I received the payment in my account the next day after shipping the watch to Watchex. Couldn't be any easier or faster.

I sold Kevin a solid gold Submariner. They had the best price, and outstanding customer service. As I live in the same city where they are located, we simply met at his bank, and he transferred the funds to my account.

I spent about an hour sitting in the bank's customer lounge drinking their coffee and talking watches with him after we did our deal, and also found out a lot about the company and the partners that he has in the US. You can do business with Watchex in total confidence, regardless of where you are located

This is the first online review I have ever written - but I want to see Watchex survive and thrive. I have no connection with them except for having sold Kevin an IWC watch last week. I could not bring myself to send a $30k watch to someone I did not know. It wasn't too hard for me to get there so I hopped a short flight and met Kevin after considering his offer based on my pics. Everything went just fine. I'm happy with the price.

Kevin, do clean up your website. Too many links that go nowhere, it does not inspire confidence. You need to get people to trust you and a totally solid website will help. A website with dead links hurts (in my mind) quite a bit.

That said, I'm really happy with the transaction. When/if I need to part with another piece you'll be the first one I call.
