Top notch company and brands

Worst Customer Support service ever

I got three watches from the web page. One of them was a pre-order, stated to happen in March-April.

After receiving my first two watches, I noted that my order status appeared as "Fulfilled" in the web page, so I wrote to Customer Support. They told me very clearly that I should wait, as the watch would ship in April.

First days of April, I ask about the delivery status of my last watch, replying to the same ticket I opened before. I got no response, so I opened a new one, where I got told that I had to reach DHL to check the status. I did that, turns out the mail came home during March and "I was not home, so they left a note". They didn't leave anything (which sadly is common here in Germany).

I contact DHL, they tell me that they sent the package back to the sender. Then, I contacted Customer Support, and told them about this issue; but I got a vague response saying that I should check with the DHL. I told them again the response I got, they stated it was my fault because I was not home, and offered a refund.

I continue by telling them that not only the delivery arrived earlier than when they told me (April VS March), but also that the mail service they used didn't even notify me. Customer Support didn't seem to care... The only thing I got from all these stressful interactions and months of waiting, is a refund that will happen when the watch arrives back to them.

I will never use this service again, and surely none of my watch enthusiast friends either. They don't care about customers, just about profit, and if they are wrong, they will just omit it to avoid money loss.

My apologies for the issue with your delivery. I do see that you order shipped early, which is great. Unfortunately, duties were required by the local carrier (upon import). This is why our customer service team suggested that you reach out to them to settle the duties or see if they still had the item. If the carrier does try to collect upon delivery, and you are not home, they may have left a small note in your mailbox. But again, some carriers forget to properly notify. We would always advocate to reach out to the local carrier because that's the fastest way to get in touch.

If your item does return back to us, we are happy to refund or reship. We definitely care for all of our customers, and try to make sure that they have the best experience possible. If you do choose a reshipment or refund, please let our team know as soon as possible. They will be happy to monitor the shipment for you!

Lackluster results and poor effort in "Mystery" watches.

I ordered two mystery watches, one Bronze/Low level and one Gold/High level watch. The Bronze one I expected to be a quartz, not very surprising for 50$. But the Gold one, where I paid close to 190$ after taxes, I was taken by surprise when I recieved the exact same California Watch Co. quartz watch. I'd expect to recieve a mechanical watch for that price point at least, and certainly not the exact same quartz watch that's given with the 50$ package. Very dissappointing experience overall and I will not be doing that again.

Watch looks great but doesn't work

The watch that I purchased arrived within the timeline stated upon purchase.....however the watch does not work.....maybe a new battery is required. I had to contact the manufacturer and now I have to wait another two weeks to send it back and have it worked on.

Men’s mystery watches are not so mystery

I really love Watches.com for the most part but don’t know if I will ever order mystery watches again. I’ve ordered a total of 4 mystery watches and have gotten 2 duplicate watches and all 4 from the same manufacturer. Granted the watches are very nice but I don’t know if the mystery watch thing is more at random watches or cycling out old inventory. If you’re trying to diversify a collection with things you typically wouldn’t buy like I was maybe think twice before buying these.

Ordered a nubeo watch on 1/20

Ordered a nubeo watch on 1/20, and received an empty box with no watch inside...wait for it, I was essentially told well you didn't purchase "route protection" so can't do anything...go "file a police report" and "notify nubeo", "maybe it could be replaced".

Surreal! They expect me to be on the hook for an item i never received!!! No accountability and/or willingness from them to resolve what in all likelihood was internal theft.

Sorry to hear that your item was stolen. The vendor actually ships this direct, and weighs each product before shipping. The warehouse has cameras and extra security measures, and inventory is reconciled regularly. Most thefts unfortunately occur in transit with the carriers, or upon delivery. That is why we always recommend adding insurance by adding Route Package Protection to each order. They are super fast when an item is lost or stolen and resolve claims within 24-48 hours. Normal carrier claims can take months.

As listed on our website, if you do choose to opt out of the insurance, the package is only covered by the terms of the carrier. At best, items are only covered up to $100 with UPS and DHL. USPS just depends. So that is why we recommended filing a police report, so that we can report it to the carrier and start the claims process for you ASAP.

A questionable company to deal with!

I bought a watch in their sales,to be told after a few days that is out of stock!!Disappointing.Then I tried to buy another as they had 20% discount (it was 299$),just to find out that the discount does not apply for my item,while they advertise 20% sale without any limitations.Today back in the site to purchase without discount the watch,once again,the purchase price had gone magicaly up to $545,although they advertise that sales are till 20 of January. How serious this company is?They play about,but I would not buy from them,ever.Ebay sells the same items for a fraction what they are asking.How can you justify,charging $407 sale price(£360)for Thomas Earnshaw Brewster collection,when amazon sells all the series for full price of £159..you can make your own judgement! Today I purchased 4 Nubeo watches from 3 different sites,Amazon,secret sales,and Mainspring boutique for £883.The same exactly watches in watches.com ask you a total of $2925(in their sales),or £2588!Totally RIP OFF......

Please note that the current moving sale, as with all sales on our website does post restrictions on the home page* The item you had further inquired about was already marked down significantly, even hundreds of dollars less than the Nubeo site itself. The Nubeo sale did end last night at midnight. That is the length of their current promotional offer. My apologies if you missed that!

If you are buying on third party bidding sites like eBay, please double check with the vendor that they are an authorized retailer for the brand. You can also verify with Nubeo their current retailers. If they are not, Nubeo will not be able to honor any warranty service, regardless if the watch is brand new. Just a heads up when purchasing through sites like that.

Amongst several other items I purchased a mystery watch for $29 which advertises a three fold return in value and I received what really looks like a pink little girls watch (plastic). I'd pay $10-$15 for it. Their response was "find a girl to gift it to." To be fair, they state that the mystery watch is completely random and they certainly did not look at my name to see if I was a guy. Jokes on me.

Email correspondence was responsive, though unbudging on the girls (mystery) watch.

UPDATE 1: The watches that advertised as "allow 3-4 additional days" for dispatch arrived on the 11th day. This is also on their website for certain watches. The watches I ordered were all very well packed and look good. I am returning some straps. I will update this review to cover the return process.

Because of the good pricing and good packaging/condition of the watches and good correspondence, I have placed additional orders to view more items in person to decide which to keep. I will be returning some of the items as usual, and will continue to provide updates.

Had zero intention of purchasing a new watch, but some click bait took me to Watches.com and the end result was an excellent purchase of an Automatic Timex that is an excellent watch at an equitable price. I did not realize how much the Timex brand had expanded and wear the new watch proudly.
