It seems that the main aim of Trustpilot is for determining whether companies are legit or scams. Warbonnet is a trusted name in the hammock camping community, and there is no question about whether it is a legit company. You don't need to take my word for it -- look at hammock camping forum discussions yourself. Or take a look at a review of Warbonnet's leading product from Outdoor Gear Lab -- a highly visible gear review site.

They are a small company with a small number of employees, so this may contribute to them not providing some of the same kind of customer service as some might expect. And perhaps they do need to up their customer service game, even given their size. However, you can trust that they are not a scam. I've had good experiences with them myself.

Expensive products that are cheaply made!
For the price you pay you get cheaply made products with horrible finish!
Also my 11ft SuperFly came not seam sealed, they mention on their website that just the 13ft version requires seam sealing by the user.
And bad customer service.

Superb company, top products and great service!
Have made 2 orders with them so far and will gladly shop again.
Speedy and clear communication on questions and very good quality products.
Shipment to NL has been flawless.

Really, really bad customer service, where the company have no clue whatsoever of what is going on in their own business, and makes one mistake after the other and then takes it out on the customer, who has no guilt in warbonnets mistakes at all for their poorly overpriced products and really disgracefull threatment of their customers.

Ordered two custom made tarps. Both were absolutely not rain tight. After a few days, where they made me feel guilty of their lack of quality control, they accepted the fact, that their product might not be so perfect as they initinally claimed.
Returned both of them, but I as an customer had to do all the work handling the shipping from DK to USA...
Warbonnet made two new tarps - which they then chose to send to my shopUSA adress, evenso I stated three times by email, that they were to ship the tarps directly to my Danish home adress...they did not.
Again, as an customer, I had to spend time correting warbonnets wrongs, and arrange shipping from my shopUSA adress back to warbonnet.
Did so....tick-tack time is passing by, and we had to cancel yet another hammock trip..

Now two month later, the issue is still not resolved. Finally I recieved the replacment tarps....just to find out, that both of them now have the lenght of 13 feet...
We paid and ordered 11 and 12 feet.....
They did not even care to check the order we placed nor the lenght of the returned tarps...
Then after complaining about the faulty lenghts of the tarps I recieved and email from warbonnet, that they did every thing by the book and we should enjoy our new tarps. The lenght would be no dealbreaker...they said.

Emhhh....yes. this is not what we paid for and ordered.
Again it is now the customers problem, that they do not have a clue of, what the customer ordered and they really do not care - I am the idiot and problem here !!!

And as for right now we are to suck it up and just be happy about two off lenght tarps.

Really ????

No, We want what we paid for : two customized tarps in the lenght of 11 and 12 feet...how hard can it be ?

I am never again purchasing anything from warbonnet.
Go for UGQ or Deutchware. They deliver quality products with outstanding customer service.
Avoid warbonnet is my advice.
