Absolutely disappointing experience
Absolutely disappointing experience with Vultric Hosting LLC. What started as a simple dedicated server order turned into a 3-week nightmare of poor communication and unfulfilled promises.
I ordered a server in late October, and immediately there were issues. They first falsely notified me that my server was ready when it wasn't. Then began a frustrating cycle of delayed responses. When they didn't have the originally advertised 5800x processor, they offered a 7900x alternative. Which was nice, but they never actually provided it.
The communication system was particularly frustrating. Their staff kept directing me to reply through their billing area portal instead of regular email, making a simple conversation needlessly complicated. Even when following their process, messages seemed to get lost in their system. Their response times were inconsistent - sometimes responding within hours, other times letting days pass without any update.
The breaking point came when they promised the server would be up 'shortly' on November 16th. After that, they completely ghosted me despite multiple follow-ups. It took a threat of credit card chargeback on November 18th to finally get a response - and even then, they simply processed a refund without any explanation or apology.
