Primary Painting has been painting homes across Vermont's Chittenden, Addison, and Grand Isle counties since 1996. We're a small, owner-operated company, and in 30 years we've worked for more than 2,500 customers in Burlington, South Burlington, Shelburne, Charlotte, Williston, Grand Isle, Panton, and the towns in between. What we do: interior and exterior residential painting, deck and trim staining, power washing, and light carpentry, including replacing rotted boards, trim, and deck framing before anything gets a finish coat. Vermont weather is hard on a house. Lake wind, ice, and sun take their toll on siding, decks, and entryways, and we would rather repair the wood underneath than paint over a problem that comes back in two years. Chris, the owner, does the estimates himself. He walks the property, talks through what you actually want done, and follows up with a written, itemized estimate by email, so you can see exactly what is included, what is optional, and what each piece costs before you commit to anything. We work with homeowners who care about the details: matching an existing stain, protecting the plantings, keeping the site clean, and finishing when we said we would. A good share of our work comes from repeat customers and from neighbors who saw our truck down the road.
