I have done a extensive 2 week course then set my test and failed badly and paid around a 1000 pound for the privilege look else's where don't waste money people.

Good for dumping trash vehicles - not for buying.
In short, this is a good place to dump trashed/troubled vehicles no questions asked, but I strongly recommend against buying. So if you want an easy place to sell, Vroom is (maybe) the spot, especially if your car has troubles. If you want to overpay for someone else's problem child, this is definitely the spot.
I did a trade-in with Vroom. While buying my Jeep, they were very communicative and timely with picking it up. The exact opposite was true for the truck I purchased. It came so late that I was without a vehicle for about two weeks after they picked up my Jeep, despite the fact that I had asked they try to mitigate the possibility of leaving me without a vehicle.
The multiple times per day I called for updates on the arrival of my truck, they were unable to give me details fresher than about 3 days old, and sometimes actually told me information older than the last person I'd spoken to. To make it all worse, they downright refused when I asked to speak to a manager, despite me requesting to do so multiple times over multiple days. This put me in meltdown mode because they were straight-up refusing to help or offer any answers.
When the truck finally arrived, it came with mismatched panels that were not apparent in the pictures, and had obviously been sank up to the frame in mud - the body had been cleaned for the pictures, but the bottom was caked in mud.
For the record, this review was shortened by pages. Buying from them was a significant emotional event that I would never consider doing again. But so long as they have the highest price, I'd sell to them all day. A little hint, though - most dealerships will beat Vroom's price for your car, so I recommend using Vroom as the "sucker" and getting their offer, and then taking that to a dealership for a better price on your trade-in/sell.
I will start with the facts
I will start with the facts, I found a Volvo xc90 vin YV4102CK7K1448517, and we decided to trade our Nissan rogue toward it, I did a credit application, deposit, and everything went smoothly till then. everything else went south after you pay your money. 1- horrible to no communication (i have to call tens of times}. 2-weeks passed with no update and they finally came in to pick up our trade (we couldn't drive the vehicle due to mileage limitation and it's a responsibility). leaving us with no car. 3-trade up bill along with new approved Volvo loan became due and we had to cough up both. 4-called again to find where is the Volvo to find out it was in the Nashville hub close to my home but they lost the key for the car. 5-finally car was brought back and we had to leave out of town and we didn't have time to check it. of course, something bad went along these lines a noise while driving started coming up to find out that the tires need to be replaced due to uneven wear. 6-Finally temp tag expired on March 1st and we can't drive the vehicle anymore (called like 15 times and had about seven cases made with no result, some ended with hanging up the phone on me. the whole point behind your business model along with Carvana and shift is to avoid dealerships and all the negative with that business model. you are supposed to excel in all the shortcomings of any brick-and-mortar dealership. everything after paying was wrong Now I need the tag to be completed and in the meantime send me a temp tag, second, I need the tires to be replaced as they are not safe to drive on.
Do not work with Varoom!
This company has the worst customer service, the worst buying process, and misrepresent themselves. How can you have someone give you a contract with an agreed upon interest rate if 4% and then come back and say oh by the way we need to change the rate to15%. Run. Run. Run. Also you never speak to the same person 2x. You don’t get a dedicated representative. You get someone different every time you call and have to tell the whole story of the attempted purchase over and over again. Worst and most unprofessional company ever!
Selling my car was incredibly easy
Selling my car was incredibly easy. I told them about my car and they sent me an offer. I accepted it and within 11 days I had the check! Did everything online except for having to go to Fed Ex to send them my title. If you are selling your car. I highly recommend Vroom.
This has been the worst experience in…
This has been the worst experience in buying a vehicle although I received my car the overpayment of my deposit has not been sent back to me I have been waiting for my 2000 return for over a month and still getting the same answer ever time I call. This has been a nightmare especially me being a single mom that don’t just have 2000 to throw away and causing me to be late on bills. All I want is for this issue to be resolved. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy
This is the most horrible car dealer on…
This is the most horrible car dealer on God's green earth, it has been 6 months and stil no title or registration. Spent countless hours with customer service, there is no customer service. It is one excuse after another. Just sick and tired of fighting with these worthless people Just don't know what to do anymore. Just at a lost with these worthless scum bags.
Sold me a truck with no title.
I bought a truck outright from them 2 months ago and they have not sent me the title. Their customer service is terrible and incapable of doing anything. I call every day and all they can do is put in a request for the title department to call me. The title department never calls me.
They tell me they have a copy of the title but are Unable to send me a pdf of it for security reasons.
The temporary tag they sent with the truck expired and they tell me every day that they have the temp tag and will send it fedex in the next day or two, but they never send the title.
Vroom is either a fraudulent dealer or completely incompetent. Either way, do not buy a vehicle from them.
The absolute worst online car dealer. Stay away.
I bought a car online the day after Christmas 2021. The red flags should have immediately went up when after putting a contract and getting financing for the car a Vroom representative contacted trying to find a car for me. Hey it could have been a mistake, people make them. The day finally came. I got an email saying my car will be delivered and someone would contact me 24 hours before. Awesome. That day came and went. No email or no phone call. So I called and was immediately apologized to. I was then told by the customer support representative they would refund me the 700 delivery fee for the error and the car hadn’t even shipped yet to my local terminal. That refund was appreciated and calmed me down a little. Because mistakes happen. Except I never got the refund and when I asked about it was told that’s not the policy the customer service person shouldn’t have told me that. Oh, I didn’t realize your customer service people would just lie to a customer to shut them up. Waiting again for the car and I get a phone call one day saying your car is being delivered today when can I come? I’m at work I was told someone would call me 24 hours before. Sorry but I have it now so I can either deliver it or you can call back and schedule another date when we are back in the area. NO NO NO let me do a few things and I’ll leave work early. The car shows up and the delivery guy was nice enough and did a good job. The car was filthy but hey it just snowed and I get that. I take a look inside the car and oh dear lord it was filthy. Whatever I can clean a car it is what it is. This thing just made a trip across most of America so I get it. But wait there aren’t any license plates. So I call vroom. Did you check the glove box or center console or above the visors? Oh I didn’t think do that…..yes I actually looked. Again a very apologetic customer support rep helped and sent me a copy of the license plate by email. Cool, thanks. It is now mid February and my tags are expiring. Vroom sends an email we need the following list to get you a set of temporary tags while we work on your permanent registration and tags. Ok, within the same day I send the package back off. My tags now expire and I can’t drive the car. I call vroom again and another very apologetic customer service rep says they have everything they need it must have been overlooked we will get you tags within 72 hours. So I can’t drive my car, it’s annoying but things happen. The tags are finally emailed to me and things are good. I get notified the title and registration paperwork was sent off to the state and it may take 4 weeks. Ok not a problem, except my temporary tags are getting ready to expire again. Vroom emails me says they have what they need so look out for an email with the new temporary tag. April 1 comes and the tags are now dead so I call. What happened and guess……yes a very apologetic customer service rep says we have everything we need we will email you a new set of temporary tags in 24-72 hours. Hey this is getting a little ridiculous you told me 2 weeks ago you had everything You needed. Why the wait? Sorry but it will take us that time to get tags. Ok. Now it’s April 6 and I still don’t have tags so I call vroom again and you guessed it another very apologetic customer service rep says they have everything they need and will escalate my problem and I should have tags in 72 hours. Hold on! You said that on Friday and 2 weeks ago you emailed me saying you knew this was going to happen. What happened? I’m sorry that’s all I know, you will beta tags in about 72 hours. So I can’t drive my car now for more than a week. Again I’m paying for a car and paying insurance for a car I can’t drive.
I will never use an online dealer again. Vroom has ruined it for all online dealers. They are quite possibly the worst company I have ever done business with. It’s sad and honestly they care about 1 thing. Selling cars. Maybe I should have known it, maybe I’m naive for thinking an online company would want to take care of their customers, but man was I wrong.
It’s a learning experience and I learned stick to the lesser evil and go to a dealer and deal with the snake you can see.
Vroom sucks and I hope this helps persuade you to never use them. Forget the convenience. Forget the ability to do everything in the safety of your house. You’re going to have to deal with an In person car dealer but you will agree on the long run that 4 hours spent at a dealer will help you alleviate almost 5 months of headache.
What a lousy car buying experience
What a lousy car buying experience. I paid cash for my 2017 Buick Casada which was offered at below Kelly Blue Book value (so that I was getting a great deal). The car arrived a week later than originally promised and was delivered looking like it just went through a dirt storm. I was told the paperwork to get the car registered would arrive shortly. Two months later, the paperwork "showed up" at FedEx who made one attempt to deliver to me and then took it to a local grocery store for me to pick up. I went to pick up the paperwork but the grocery store didn't have it. I call Vroom customer service and was told they would have the paperwork to me in business days. It has been over a month and no paperwork to register the car. The temporary tags have expired so I paid cash for a car that I cannot register nor drive. The beat goes on. I absolutely will never buy a car from this vendor again. I tried to look up the President or other executive officers of the company in their prospectus to find that no addresses were given for any officer and the phone number that I found was disconnected. This is a horrible company with zero customer service. Shame on you Vroom... shame on YOU!!!
Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. They lie, they do not deliver on time. I waited 5 months for plates and a registration only to be told they didn’t do an inspection on the vehicle first.
DON’T DO IT!
DON’T DO IT!! I know it’s tempting to avoid the dealership and get what seems to be a good deal, but don’t fall for it. This company is a miserable company. I just spent 3 weeks trying to complete a deal with them. Every step was a struggle. Mistakes were made at every turn, and correcting the each mistake took 2-3 days at a time. I finally got to the point where it was time to schedule delivery of the new car. They just called me and informed me they have suspended sales in my state effective 2 days ago because they can no longer register vehicles here, and they’re canceling the car. 3 weeks and countless hours wasted on this process. Their communication is HORRIBLE. They should not be in business. It’s not worth the headache- go the traditional route. TRASH!
HORRIBLE customer service and processing
Poor communication from the start has turned into a mess- my car was delivered on 2/15 however they only just submitted registration. My temp tags expire today and in the past 2 weeks I have sent at least 3 emails, 5 phone calls with 0 resolution offered other than waiting. You are not able to speak to a manager or someone higher up or even someone in the registration department.
HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. Believe all the reviews. Purchased a car, delivered 3 weeks late, damaged, now temp tags expired, no registration completed by them. Customer support is outsourced offshore remote reps who do nothing but create a customer support ticket with no response from anyone in the company. No communication from anyone in the company, calling & emailing them everyday. Amazing how they are allowed to operate when a physical dealership has much more accountability. The worst dealership experience could not compare to this.
I finally received my permanent plates…
I finally received my permanent plates on March 11th, 30 days after my temporaries expired. I spent a couple thousand dollars out of pocket, I needed a smog certificate and a Title search from the DMV plus $439.00 for 4 weeks rental car because my temporary expired and I didn’t want to take a chance of driving to work and get my car towed. Oh and 9 days after I received my permanent plates my 2nd set of temporaries came in the mail…
Negative 0 stars if possible this…
Negative 0 stars if possible this company is full of s*** I wish I had never gone through this process at all They false advertise and over price vehicles. The denali i bought should have been sold for $28000 not 38000. It has severe engine failure none of the safety sensors work nor does on star, the navigation. There are panels missing off of the doors and that's aside from the thousands of dollars i already put in for repairs and i only had this truck for a 1.5 months. I have shopped with by here pay here dealerships multiple times in the past and still have not dealt with this type of problem. I still have no tags or registration yet the finance company is down my throat about me making payments on something I can't even drive. this is ridiculous and this company needs to be put out of business immediately. How is this not considered a type of Pyramid scheme?
Beware
They in my opinion don’t deserve one star. I was in the process of buying a truck. I have sent all my documents back plus a huge deposit. Unfortunately,No one knows what happened to my cashier check. I have never had such a bad time trying to purchase a car. Please take these reviews serious if your planning on buying from them. You will talk to twenty people that doesn’t know what is going on.
Im in the process of ordering a car
Im in the process of ordering a car, yesterday Dianna/Deanna was sent all the required documents, today I talked to 5 different people about me missing my ss card. I sent it again and I just was hung up on. I'll keep this updated if anything changes
worse place to buy car
worse place to buy car.
its been 3 months and I still didn't got my tag place. my car was sitting in my parking with expired tag for month . Horrible customer service , never buy car from them .
With hindsight I wish I had read the…
With hindsight I wish I had read the reviews about this company and their shady practices.
I ordered a luxury (6 berth) motor home for 14 days and paid all funds asked for; then a week before they asked for more funds to cover insurance??? After much debate I had to reduce my vacation to 10 days as I refused to pay anymore and when I tried to cancel I was told it wasn’t possible.
I was in Northumberland in English town of South Shields and was about to go through Tyne Tunnel but there’s no payment lanes now so staff told me to drive through and the £1.90 toll would be asked to the registered keeper of vehicle.
To cut the worst vacation ever short I’ll state since after handing back said motor home to Varoom I got email back this morning stating they are not returning my deposit of £500
Making me feel angry band ripped off by the horrendous attitudes shown by all their staff… rude and downright scammers… nice before you pay your funds but after they have your funds they don’t care… indeed if you have a problem on the road getting through to an advisor is impossible. Only time they answer is if you choose option one to book a motor home!
I agree with all other reviews that I really wish I could leave them 0 star review as they are that bad and they should be investigated by police as it’s legalised theft they have done to me not returning my deposit without as much as a breakdown as to why they are withholding my whole £500 deposit; CANT STRESS ENOUGH THAT NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT TAKING YOUR FUNDS.
The luxury wagon I hired was about as luxurious as living in a tent; the toilet was faulty, fridge wasn’t working, tv not working plus no reverse sensors or any aids at all for reversing a large van??? Very very poor overall and tbh I have never known a company that can think it can ride rough shod over people that trusted their service to be let down by bully tactics and indeed any excuse to withhold my funds.
DO NOT BE A FOOL LIKE ME AND STEER WELL WELL CLEAR OF VAROOM WHO ONLT WANT TO MAKE YOU PART WITH AS MUCH FUNDS AS THEY THINK THEY CAN GET!
Please demote this review to zero stars! Fake Prices
Vroom actually made me question why there isn't an option for 0 stars. The first phone call was great called with 30 minutes of me placing my deposit. Then the lies and deception began. Agreed to 1 warranty but all warranties were added to contract and after multiple emails and phone calls to get it removed they still remain. Fine Ill cancel them and get refunded after delivery. Send in all paperwork and was told they had everything they needed and that the shipping would some begin. Then it was we need an insurance card. It took 3 days for them to figure out a way to send the new card. Then I was told they had everything again. Me being patient I waited a week and called again for an update and was told they needed another insurance card. Paid for new insurance on a car that has not been delivered. Now almost a month into the process I literally call everyday now to get told my car will be delivered tomorrow. I have now attempted to cancel the order and now that will take 3 days. Poor business practices and it seems like they have way more volume than they can handle. Growing pains but very unfortunate that it has to come at customers expense. Run Forrest Run!
