We have had the worst experience with…

We have had the worst experience with this provider. While the books are fine, we could not cancel the subscription and after months of back and forth with Vooks, I have had to cancel my card in order to stop the direct debits coming out. Definitely not worth this effort.

My kids love Vooks!

My youngest asks for Vooks before bed every night! I love that I can hand him the phone knowing that there won't be fast-paced, video game- like graphics. I truly feel like Vooks has played a part in all 3 of my kids loving to read. Thank you!

Our household loves Vooks!

Vooks is the only screen time I feel good about giving to my young kids! My daughters love the stories and how Vooks brings the pages of the books to life, and I love that I can get work done or cook a meal without interruption. We've used it for years and it's been a wonderful addition to our home.

Our family absolutely loves Vooks!

Our family absolutely loves Vooks! Instead of riling the kids up like the majority of screentime, it actually has a soothing effect and calms them down. If we don't have the time/ability to read to them, Vooks is the next best thing. It's a great tool when I'm traveling for work, especially the new Storyteller feature that allows me to record my own version of the stories!

My kids absolutely love the content on Vooks! It is new and refreshing compared to all of the other distractions on the internet. They love it and it is a great resource for parents to make sure their kids are always learning!

Vooks has been staple in our home for years!

Vooks has been a staple in our home for years! My wife and I have worked hard to build a literature rich environment for our kids, and Vooks has played a big role in nurturing their love for reading and learning! The stories are wholesome, calming, and inspirational. In our view, Vooks is not only the best screen time option for our young kids, but an incredible read aloud tool as well!

My daughter loves Vooks!

My family is a big fan of Vooks! Vooks is great for young kids, and my daughter in particular loves to watch and recite the stories. Vooks is screen time that I feel good about, which is amazing given there are a lot of not so great options out there.

Absent customer service

I cancelled my subscription - and have the confirmation email that it was cancelled. And was charged the next year- which I did not authorize- I’m sorry: credit card numbers should be removed from your system once a service is cancelled - it does not sit well with me that they have this information still. I have emailed their customer support 3-4 times over the past two months and have yet to receive a response. Very disappointing, and I would still like my subscription cancelled and the full amount for the year refunded. It is unfortunate that I have to go to a venue like this and post to get their attention.

Beware, you have to cancel EVERY YEAR!!!

Apparently you have to cancel your subscription EVERY YEAR!!!!
Last year in march 2021 I has having problems trying to cancel my yearly subscription and it seemed that VOOKS had a problem with the website that could not accept cancelations so I had to contact customer's service in order to cancel it!
I did and I was successfully, after many emails.
And now, one year passed 2022 and for my surprise I was charged my yearly VOOKS subscription on my credit card!!!! A subscription I CANCELED ONE YEAR AGO!!!!! How is that legal? Do you have to cancel it every year now?????
Be aware before subscribing to it!!!!!

Vooks have targeted teachers with free…

Vooks have targeted teachers with free year subscription to pass on to parents. How very clever. So as a parent, I went to Vooks and the only option given was to subscribe and pay vooks money. Nothing free here! Baulderdash Vooks. And slimey deceptive backdoor entry through the public education department. Do not be fooled people. VOOKS IS NOT FREE!!!

Satisfied Teacher

I really enjoy the website as a teacher. The kids enjoy the engaging interactive stories. I especially like how the stories emphasize each word as it is reading for my dyslexic learners. One thing I wish is it had more of a selection for Black History Month. Usually new stories are put on for the holidays, seasons, etc but for February no new stories were added to the selection. The 11 that are on there are amazing but we have read through them all already and I was looking for something new.

My 5 and 3 year old boys love Vooks, and I'm blown away by the quality. The stories are so engaging, and I love knowing that they're developing reading skills while having fun!

Difficulties canceling

I attempted to cancel my subscription in February of 2021. They suddenly without my authorization started charging my account again in August of 2021.

Update:
The account is finally cancelled again, and they have refunded my charges for 4 months. I still don't understand why it began billing again, but I am glad they appear to have stopped the charges. I hope they deleted my card.

I am not able to unsubscribe

I am not able to unsubscribe, I have been trying for some time now and from the look of it Im by faaaar not the only one who has had this problem. I demand that you stop my subscription right now and don't charge me anymore.
