I ordered their wallet for my boyfriend for our anniversary. The quality is realy nice and has been using it every day since then. I will definitely be buying off VB again, for others and myself! He loved it.

I was waiting for the restock on 31.aug on the handbag, but when I checked on the day it was changed to 31.oct, and the price is increased to 900$, originally being 700$. I’ve waited a long time to get a quality handbag instead of buying from another store, so it was kinda disappointing…
Trying to send email to the company and got a notice back saying the email did not go through and will be sendt back to sender.

Edit:
After entering the website again the price is 1000$ and even longer waiting time. After reading other people’s review I saw that the quality isn’t as good as described, not only have they increased the price 300$ more, their email still don’t work as for questions or returns. I don’t think you can return anything without a hassle.

Later I get a notification that my review got flagged by the company as containing defamatory content which is shocking. I don’t mean to spread hate, I’m simply honest.
It makes me sad that they don’t take ownership of false advertisement and pure scam. I thought trustpilot would be a place of honestly to customers, but Vonbaer only want fake satisfied reviews.

I was sceptical at first when I came across their website while looking for a weekend bag. I started by ordering a wallet, which arrived literally the next day — it looked and felt amazing. After that, I went for their weekender bag, and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful and luxurious. I couldn’t find any other brand online that works with this kind of natural leather — Von Baer definitely stands out. Pretty sure this won’t be my last purchase.

I am very happy with my purchase, a perfect slim laptop bag with a high quality and luxury design feeling.
Unfortunately I damaged the strap to my bag in a revolving door. I reached out to Von Baers support and two days later I received a new strap. This is first class support and the reason that I write this review. Thank you.

I visited VB store in Tallinn and service was excellent. The bag I got is high quality and looks very nice. If you want a hand made leather bag, this is the place!

I was first looking to purchase a good quality leather wallet with rfid protection and found one I loved. The first overall experience was perfect and the wallet is extremely good supple leather which will patina and last for probably decades. I decided then to purchase a handbag. I usually favour slightly larger handbags but the model 1 while smaller than my normal fits everything I had in my other bag. Excellent quality leather and great customer experience. I will definitely be recommending and purchasing from again.

I recently purchased a women's wallet from Von Baer, and I'm really happy I did! It is not only about the beautiful look, but also a high quality product! The lather feels very soft and light, it feels so good in my hands! I love it!

Didn’t plan on buying anything, but the photos and videos sold me on their tote bag. No regrets, very happy with the purchase. it’s so elegant and practical!

I bought the 10X bag and, being a pretty heavy user, I’ve put it through a lot. After two years of almost daily use, a rivet on the leather puller broke off. I emailed them asking how to fix it, and they offered to send me a new leather puller free of charge — I honestly didn’t expect that! It makes sense that some parts like that will need replacing over time, but it’s rare to see that kind of support. I’m really happy with the bag. Since then, I’ve also bought the Weekender and the Washington Wallet — both have been excellent. I’ll definitely be back for more.

I purchased a bag from Von Baer that arrived with clear and unacceptable defects. I took photos immediately upon unboxing and shared them with customer support. They sent a replacement, but unfortunately, it also arrived with visible issues — including problems with the leather and metal parts.

The defects, especially in the metal components, were clearly manufacturing-related, not caused by misuse. Yet the support team appeared unwilling to acknowledge this, which made the situation even more frustrating.

To make matters worse, the support team went as far as to accuse me of dishonesty, implying that I had fabricated or exaggerated the defects. This was deeply insulting, especially considering I submitted clear, time-stamped photos taken right out of the box. Rather than taking accountability, they shifted the blame and treated me with suspicion.

It has now been over two weeks since I began trying to return the second defective bag, and the issue remains unresolved. I was told that there were videos showing the bag in perfect condition before shipping — yet none of those videos were ever shared with me. Instead, I received only a few photos of the packaging and one distant image of the bag, where the flaws were impossible to see.

Their responses were slow and filled with vague explanations about "quality control" that did not reflect the actual condition of the items I received.

While the first bag was in worse condition, that does not make the second acceptable — it was still poor quality. For the high price I paid, I could have easily purchased a far better bag elsewhere.

This entire experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing. I’m sharing my experience to help other customers make an informed decision.

It is incredibly disappointing that after everything, you are now refusing to refund my payment and also refusing to return the bag. This is unethical, unprofessional, and deeply unfair.

Every time I try to leave an honest comment to warn others, you delete it. That is not transparency — it’s a deliberate attempt to silence the truth. You are presenting your products as premium quality when they clearly are not.

Despite all of this, as of 6 August, the issue remains unresolved. Shockingly, instead of offering a refund, they proposed sending me a third bag. That in itself says a lot — if the second replacement wasn’t good enough, why offer a third? This feels more like an attempt to deflect responsibility than a real solution.

From the very beginning, I was clear: I want to return both bags and get my money back. But to my surprise, I discovered — only after insisting on a refund — that there's a hidden clause buried in the long version of their return policy, which is not obvious at all during checkout. I originally assumed a refund would go back to my original payment method, but instead, I was told that refunds are only issued as store credit.

This is not only misleading but also completely unreasonable, especially when both products were defective.

Updated Review – September 19, 2025:
The company continues to accuse me of lying instead of taking responsibility for the poor quality of their products. Dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare for any customer.

To clarify: the photos I provided were taken immediately upon opening the box. Do they seriously expect me to record a full video every time I unbox an item just to avoid being accused of lying?

I must reiterate — the real issue is the poor quality of their products, and as you can see from their responses, I honestly don’t know what’s worse: the products themselves or their customer service.

She said I neede to level up my looks and tbh I think she was right lol. This backpack’s sleek but still looks pretty manly. Loves the deep brown shade — also feels super premium in hand.

Genuinely looking for one & found it while browsing the site, but they had such good leather goods it was hard not to grab something. Glad I picked this case — it was practical.

I was impressed with how fast the products arrived to Montana in the US. I received the Money Clip with engraved initials for my husband, he absolutely loved it. The leather is truly beautiful. I also received the W2 Women's Wallet. It comes with a wrist strap which is so convenient. Very high quality.

Gave this to my dad for Father’s Day. He’s a wallet/keys/glasses scatterer and this has solved that. He keeps saying “this is really smart.” Glad I ordered from Von Baer.

Bought the backpack for myself originally — I’d been looking for something simple but well-made, and this belt ticked all the boxes. Clean design, no loud branding, just solid quality. But the moment my sister saw it, she absolutely loved it and wouldn’t stop going on about it. Eventually, I gave in and let her have it and bought another one for myself.

Couldn’t decide between two colors so confusion but the photos really helped me compare side by side. Went with the solid brown, no regrets. Feels elegant but still chill.

Spotted the Weekender online and it just stood out to me. Perfect size for my daily stuff, and the leather’s soft but holds its shape well. Ordering was easy, and it came with a little brochure too. Love it so far.

First time I order from Von Baer. I take the Weekender bag. Shipping to Italy was 1 day and bag arrive good packed. Leather look very nice, soft but strong. I also read on website about the leather types, was interesting. I am happy with everything.

Ordered a money clip wallet – I like things that are simple and well made, and this one really is. Site was easy, delivery to Athens came fast. Feels strong in the hand and looks like it’ll last for years. Glad I found something so clean and not overdesigned.

I did a lot of research before buying a briefcase (No. 1) and billfold Minimalist). I must say, the quality seems just as advertised. The order was processed and shipped quickly. Everything looks great and is very functional. I especially like my minimalist billfold and got to try it out on an international trip. It’s he best I’ve ever had and works great in the front pocket. And the quality of the briefcase is also fantastic and has a great feel to it. I’ve desire a more traditional briefcase for some time and this is absolutely a great choice.
