It was a trouble free experience from start to finish. My number was ported in a timely manner.

They were just helpful and all sorted out OK. Timing was fairly critical as changing ISP as well. They were good when I realised I had chosen the wrong package, all changed OK.

Our number has been transferred from BT and you made it a easy process

Moving from Virgin to Toob and Vonage initially seemed a complicated process for a technophobe like me, but the email instructions from Kim were helpful and straightforward. The only thing missing was a notification of when my phone line was to be ported, I only found out when the Virgin line went dead. I had a problem getting the Vonage box to work properly as I had connected an extension line to upstairs (no mention in the leaflet that this could not be done) but a call to Vonage informed me that only one line can be connected - not a problem with an additional wireless handset, I just have to remember to leave it upstairs!

I requested a call back to find out more about Vonage but didn't get a response. I phoned again and left a message and then got a return call which was intuitive.
I had trouble logging into my account to give permission to retain my old phone number and Kim helped me with this and explained the procedure.

Kim was very helpful, and made the set up easy.
Was able to phone him with a problem I had and it was sorted straight away.
Would definitely recommend Vonage.

Kim Grant was very helpful once I actually got though to him, long process to leave a message a couple of times but he always called back. Some confusion regarding how and when to port my old land line number which was not helped by the fact tha my ISP gave conflicting advice, eventually it got sorted after I pointed out the OFCOM rules on retention of numbers to the ISP. Fortunately Vonage persisted and managed to recover my original number after I had moved to FTTP Internet. The actual service works well once installed. Don't find the web site too intuative and logging on to it sometimes takes ages. Have to say this domestic VOIP is very much a learning curve and you have to persist as other major organisations seem to still be getting the hang of it.
Kim himself did his best despite an immature process in the UK.

The only issue I had was trying to contact Vonage Sales by phone initially. However, I left a message and Kim Grant came back to me. As others have commented, Kim explained everything well and the whole delivery & installation process (do yourself - easy to follow instructions) was completed promptly and professionally. It was easy to then arrange for my old phone number to be transferred. The mobile app is also useful if you wish to make calls from it using your Vonage minutes. Lots of features can also be set-up via your Vonage internet account - pretty self explanatory. This also enables you to track minutes used, etc.

As an old duffer approaching 70 I was a little apprehensive of this new fangled concept of no landline and voice over the internet. I have to say that one telephone call with Kim who answered all my banal questions, left me confident that it would all work fine, I was reassured that I would not lose my telephone number of 22 years and that I would not be cut off. The whole process was seamless and took about 4 days. Brilliant service, the line is crystal clear, all the old crackling is gone and the call blocking feature is both easy to use and effective in blocking the various brainless scammers.
Would encourage anyone who is thinking of using Vonage to be brave and go for it, you will not regret it. Not to mention the service they provide is a whole lot cheaper than BT !!!!

Kim Grant was so helpful in advising the set up of my phone in preparation and advance of the fibre connection. Due to his sound guidance my Vonage line and phone connection were up and running within less than two hours of fibre connectivity. Thanks Kim.

Quick and easy setup. Phone worked immediately. I would have given 5 stars if I had been given updates on the porting of my number from BT. My number was ported successfully. Many thanks to Kim for providing guidance and useful documentation.

Kim was helpful, efficient and courteous to make the process of installing the Vonage VOIP line and moving my landline telephone number across from my previous provider very quick and easy

Simple transfer from landline, service has been faultless. Highly recommend Vonage, no regrets in getting rid of my landline.

Following on from my initial problems everything was sorted by Kim and I am now a happy Vonage customer. My old number was transferred a lot sooner than expected and the billing all seems OK.

Vonage made what seemed to me a complicated operation a fairly simple and straightforward one. No problems but the voice mail seems to be awkward ie you get an email and that is the only reason I have not given a 5 star review

The process of taking broadband out with Lila was very easy. Kim, the Lila representative was great. He was very calm and patient. He opened the account whilst I was on the phone and talked me through it until all the paperwork was completed. We wanted to have a landline land keep our number. He forwarded me the link to do that. Setting up the landline and porting our number across wasn’t difficult but wasn’t as simple as it should have been. That was more to do with the previous broadband provider than Lila, although it would have been helpful if we’d had an email from Lila to say that the process was completed. Not everyone wants a land line but it may be worth Lila looking at this to see how they make this process seamless.

I have recently changed my broadband to get full fibre to the house. Unfortunately our new broadband provider doesn't offer a landline service, which we really wanted to keep, as I only have a pay as you go mobile. I also wanted to keep the same number. The broadband helpdesk said he was getting a lot of good feedback for a company called Vonage for Home. I rang them but couldn't get through, which is really frustrating, but in the end I left my name and number. A very helpful young man called Kim Grant, rang me back, and explained everything very patiently and clearly. The main thing was to sign up with them but not to cancel my existing contract until Vonage had ported my telephone number. They give you a temporary number, which you have to use at least once to make a call and receive a call. You have to sign up your account with them online, and then make the request to port your original number. You cannot use your old number until this has happened, so you should inform anyone who needs to know this. You can of course use the temporary number. Once it has been transferred, they send you a message and you can use your original number as before and they disable the temporary number. They say it can take up to 2 weeks to port the number, but it only took a few days for us. Instead of your calls going through the old landlines, which will become obsolete at the end of 2025, they go through the internet. I have to say that the calls are very clear. I would recommend to anyone who wants to keep their old landline number, but you just have to be patient, and if you can't get through, leave a message.
