  1. Volunteer Organization

Written by the company

Volunteer FDIP is a premier organization for volunteering abroad, founded in June 2014. It was created to inspire individuals to engage in volunteer work and philanthropy. Operating in several rural regions of an underdeveloped country, we are dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. Our History Our journey began with projects in Nepal, and over time, we expanded to include Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru, Kenya, among others. Throughout a decade of service, we have welcomed hundreds of volunteers, maintaining a positive and ongoing relationship with each. Many volunteers repeatedly join our initiatives, and some continue to support local communities even after returning home. Over these ten years, we believe we have succeeded in bridging the gap between those willing to help and communities in dire need. Our goal is to create more opportunities for individuals seeking a meaningful and spiritually fulfilling volunteer experience abroad.

Genuine volunteerism

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the volunteer project with FDIP. Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of meeting numerous authentic, supportive, and engaged individuals who all shared a belief in a greater cause. Volunteering with FDIP allowed me to experience firsthand the true essence of giving without expectation, which has been incredibly fulfilling. Specifically, I was involved in the childcare program, which supports the children of disadvantaged communities, providing them with access to basic education for a better life. Additionally, I had the privilege of living with a host family who treated me as their own during my time there, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the local culture. I wholeheartedly recommend FDIP to anyone seeking an authentic Nepali experience. It's an organization that embodies the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement in the most genuine way possible.

First experience in Nepal

First experience in Nepal. It was great to have advice from the coordinator. He was such friendly. I have worked in the monastery, teaching English to the young Monk. Also a great experience even though we dont collaborate very much with the Nepalese's teachers there (dont have a lot of interaction) the journey was such beautiful
I will definitly return there

Five stars aren't enough!

Five stars aren't enough! I stayed in Nepal with FDIP for 2 months during 2023. I went there for the experience, and because I just needed some time out from the UK rat race. While I was there I volunteered at both an orphanage and monastery. All I can say is...it was AMAZING! Firstly the citizens of Nepal are very nice, they believe in humanity and treat foreigners with a lot of kindness and respect. Wherever I travel I have felt the locals play a big part in the happiness factor of a trip abroad. The volunteering experience was also above expectation, it was very personal as I stayed with the children but was relaxed at the same time so there was no one pushing me to do this or that I was just doing things at my own pace. This was pretty important as I was running my online business at the same time...in the evenings mostly, so no internet issues. The FDIP in-country managers and coordinators were also very vert very good, they supported me during the trip and also took us out on weekends sightseeing to really beautiful sights which I didnt expect. You can feel that they do everything from the heart. They picked me up from the airport, supported me all the way during my time and then dropped me back at the airport, after a lovely final meal with their family. They did this for everyone while I was there. Its important to have someone there for you at all times like FDIP are when traveling like this, especially as I was solo. I want to say thank you to Naryan the in-country Manager and Sujan who were so nice and helpful to me while I was there including when i fell Ill, and they came and checked on me at the orphanage (some distance away) every day bringing me medication and even some of their mothers cooking! Bless them! These guys are really amazing and make the trip that much more special. When I left there I felt like a million bucks. Just be careful because you will fall in love with the children, people and the country! I cant wait to go back :)

Volunteer FDIP in Nepal

The volunteer coordinators and hosts for my Nepal trip were incredible. The monastery they paired me with to volunteer were also extremely accommodating, kind, and welcoming. The volunteer coordinators had ample resources for excursions such as trekking, safari, day trips and more. I recommend booking your next life changing experience with Volunteer FDIP.
