DON'T DO IT!!!! Unbelievably difficult to navigate, or search help, this app was one of the worst I've ever run across. Like so many others, I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PAYING FOR THE BASIC... See more

I'm a computer science student and downloaded Voice.ai out of curiosity to experiment with real-time voice changing. While the app does work as advertised in terms of changing voice output, it installed a virtual microphone (Voice.ai Audio Cable) silently, without clear notification or user consent.
This virtual mic overrode my default microphone and appeared active even when the app wasn’t in use. It captured and buffered audio continuously, which led to my voice being recorded even before hitting the record button in apps like WhatsApp and Sound Recorder. That behavior wasn't expected and raised serious privacy concerns.
Worse, uninstalling the software was incredibly difficult:
It left behind driver files in the Windows Driver Store
Registry entries persisted even after uninstall
Device Manager showed lingering fake mic devices
I had to use tools like Driver Store Explorer and boot into Safe Mode with Admin Rights just to fully clean it
While I don’t think the app is malware, it’s definitely invasive, lacks transparency, and behaves in ways that violate normal user trust.
If the developers want to build trust, they need to:
Clearly state that a virtual mic will be installed
Allow users to opt out or control it
Make uninstallation clean and user-friendly
Stop silently keeping the mic active in the background
Until then, I can’t recommend this software, especially to users who care about privacy or don’t have the technical background to safely remove deep system-level components.

It doesn't work.
Update from your reply. I had emailed you about it 8 hours ago before putting on this review. It didn’t work for me unfortunately

Yall be careful of this voice changer software called voice.ai because it's a scam. I was stupid to pay for this software without testing it as they blatantly threw a paywall on first launch, an obvious red flag. Using the live voice changer feature which is the main marketing feature of this tool was terrible. And no it has nothing to do with me, I tried 5 different microphones and my voice still sounded wobbly, alienatic and squirmish, no matter the settings I used. I also have a system with Nvidia graphics 3060 ti 16gb ram and ssd, which is more than the requirements of this software. I tried the same microphones on other voice changers with live mode turned on and my voice was perfect. This is obvious the voice.ai software has issues, contacting them for a refund they would lie that the issue is from ur end and not them which is false. They're the cheapest voice changers because they know their software doesn't work. They're also the only voice changers with a no refund policy, which is VERY SUS!! DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!! They buy discord subscribers so they look legit, many people complain of the bad voice, which they turn a deaf ear on. Beware of this scam company, just another builder.ai AI shithole scam. Would rate 0 stars if I could

I am feeling shameful to recommend them even a single star. Trustpilot should have a category of zero to rate such pathetic application.

i cant even use the app without paying money and they advertise themselves as a free voicechanger

Reply from voice.ai
I paid 30 euros to get a voice that doesn't even work properly, the voice lags really badly and you can tell right away that it's so cheap

Reply from voice.ai
I would give zero star if I can. I canceled after a month, but never heard back from them. They keep charging me and there is no way I can cancel or reach them despite emailing them 4 times. I deleted my account but they still have my card on file and wont stop charging me. Does anyone know how the F to get them to stop charging my account???

Useless product, please do not pay for this service. It does not work.

Its a scam, do not buy, Horrible buggy software, will force you to pay before even using it. total garbage. Again do not buy.

Reply from voice.ai
Horrible experience!
They lock on your card and keep charging with no way of ending your subscription. I had to lock them on my credit card because they keep charging your card. Pure garbage and please stay away if you do not need headaches. The software itself is not bad, but 0 starts for customer service

Reply from voice.ai
Absolutely awful experience. The product is useless, broken, and nowhere near what they advertise. It doesn’t work properly, and you get zero value out of it.
Customer service is just as bad — they hide behind a refund policy instead of actually helping. I tried to get a refund only two days after purchase, and they still refused.
I feel completely scammed. Do not buy this product. You're wasting your money on something that doesn't work and a company that doesn't care.

Ai has huge potential; however voice.ai falls well short of ai potential. Further to this they fail to give refunds to dissatisfied customers. Bottom line is voice.ai which is headquartered in Main St, Unit 634, Santa Monica is flogging a defective, misleadingly advertised product which fails to perform as promised. Upon installation, it interfered with my system’s audio, produced poor-quality sound, and provided no clear way to log out, turn off, or cleanly uninstall. The user experience is severely lacking, and the application does not meet even basic functionality standards. These guys are bad news and I am currently submitting a complaint to the FTC and filing a chargeback with my payment provider.

I waited over 30 min for Miles to call and he never called. Is this their idea of customer service?
