Vodafone is not for you .
good evening , people . am a resident in Ghana . i want to complain about the bloody truth of how poor is vodafone in ghana. ive been holding and using vodafone since three years . Today , in 7 feb 2026, since a month till now , the service ..net, call data ..doesnt work unless you offline-online go back again literally every 5 min on a duration of 24 hrs a day . The question is are you human beings ??? welcome to 2026. vodafone do update their services every couple of months, with messages sent to all users . ( sorry for any inconvenience , with the fact that after all that process..hell nothing changes . ) i guess you go close your shop better . you're too weak to run a company in a very sociable , safe, and a way of unique life style in GHANA . you're promises fades faster than rain . you and your services . NOT thankful nor grateful . joe / 0508933532 . vodafone is for you all .
Vodafone travel esim in Ghana
This is for Vodafone travel esim in Ghana. After a complete failure of 2 other esim reseller providers, I was willing to try Vodafone even if I have heard som bad review. The price was very competitive for a decent data volume. The esim was delivered immediately and easlily installed on iPhone in less than 5 minutes without cuom settings or requirement for vendor specific app. Coverage only tested in greater Accra, but there it has been more reliable for surf and maps than Ghana citizens phyical sim card. Daily cnsumption is easy to follow by logging in to Vodafone travel web site, n need oe another app.
Just Absurd
As a traveler it is hard to get a SIM Card, because you'll need a Ghana-ID. But at an official bigger store we got the Vodafone card. It has been super slow along the N1 and even in Cape Coast (where the screenshots have been taken) it just did not work and when it worked for a few seconds, it was horribly slow.
This is just absurd and buying this card was a big, big mistake. That said, after 450000km of traveling by car around the world, this is the very first service, which mostly did not work (and I'm not speaking about having no connection in the bush).
NOT recommended Service.
Update: We've been in Accra with two of these cards. Friend with iPhone 14 and we with a Samsung A52S.
Connections have been absolutely horrible for both of us. Average: 1 MBit/sec, max for a few minutes: 12 MBit. Minimum has been 45kbyte/sec in the middle if Accra (Embassy Area).
These people are thieves
These people are thieves and dont deserve to be operating. Twice now they've refused to release the mobile money to my recipient or deliver it to sent recipient. To add to the fraud of these people they refuse to refund money back to me. Absolutely not trustworthy company.
Very bad and horrible network is ghana…
Very bad and horrible network is ghana vodafone.
Because I am Ghanaian I will give favor to Ghana vodafone by giving one star,
Actually they don't deserve even no one
Your network is Soo terrible I regret…
Your network is Soo terrible I regret changing from MTn you guys should just shut your network down and let the good network MTn provide Ghana with good Internet connection you put no effort into making your network better and I also thought your network was better than MTn which was very dumb of me cause your network first runs at 1ks 3g you guys should just shut your network down and am never wasting my money on your useless network again
Vodafone upgrade your internet
Vodafone.cm.gh you to be one of the best networks ever before anyother network back in the days but recently it’s getting way slow as you bundle for data and you barely use it cause the internet is very slow and not working at other rural areas. And with the inconsistency of the network before you relise all data being gone when you have flu had proper stable internet full time to browse yet it’s great finished for some reason.
Kindly fix it
Vodafone Ghana apps never work
Vodafone Ghana applications never work. Too difficult to reset passwords. Waste lots of users time. Put in all info on reset. Told passwords don't match but they do. Then suddenly reset app isn't available. Just total TRASH.
Zero for Effort
Terrible, terrible customer service, showing a shocking disregard and lack of respect for paying client. Reported my broadband was down some days ago. Nothing from them beyond the automated acknowledgement of the incident filed. I've had to chase them DAILY for updates and it's always that 'the incident is open'. I KNOW it is, that's why I keep calling to push vodafone to close it! AND, they hide behind their faceless chats, terminating said chats in the midst of information being provided. They don't keep to their promised resolution dates; they dont keep to their promise to call for further information. I am waaay below disappointed 👎Vodafone Ghana, SIT UP!
Good customer care
If it wasn't for the broadband bundle…
If it wasn't for the broadband bundle they offer I would have switched providers years ago. The fibre broadband goes out intermittently and every time I call customer service I am told they are experiencing "challenges". There are times when I will have no service for several days yet I am required to pay for my subscription every month. The longest the internet has been off has been two weeks and that has happened three times in the past year. Right now I am without service for 3 days. What at all is going on? They need to do better.
The unlimited data plan for a month for…
The unlimited data plan for a month for 30 days is useless, it didn't specify whether to all network or not, and since I have only two Vodafone contacts on my phone I can only call this two contacts.
If I could rate their customer service…
If I could rate their customer service 0 stars I would’ve. They work on your issues when they feel like. When I was about to pay for their Fibre broadband I was told it’ll be installed in 3 working days. It’s been three weeks and nothing has been done. They keep giving me stories and excuses. And the most annoying thing is they don’t even communicate with me, I have to call them for updates. How can the customer be chasing you guys for updates on a service you should’ve rendered a week or two ago. A service I paid for in full. I’m more than disappointed
Excellent Network Coverage & Affordable Plans!
I recently switched to Ghana Vodafone from another provider, and I'm so glad I did! The network coverage is excellent and the customer service is top-notch. The plans are affordable and the data packages offer great value for money. The process of switching was seamless and I have had no issues with the service since then. I would highly recommend Ghana Vodafone to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable mobile service provider.
Horrible experience so far. Update: 02.09.2022
I requested their service when I was in a rented property at Spintex. They told me there was an issue and needed to wait for a while. That was 10 months ago only for them to now call me after I have moved from the property that they are coming to install it. I'm now at Adenta and I've requested the service for the second time it's been over a month and they are still giving me the runaround. I get a call from an engineer the day before promising that they will come the next day and they never show up. They've done this twice already. They sometimes forget that some of us actually work for a living and can't be sitting at home the whole day waiting. I'm going for a refund first thing on Monday. The service is not worth the hassle and I'm not ready to lose my job over it. I've had to go for a temporary solution till I can get an alternative. This new place I'm at literally has a line inside the building so all they need to do is come and install the equipment and they can't even do that. SMH.
Update 02.09.2022:
The broadband has been finally installed. Not giving it a 5 only because of the time it took for them to install but for the service itself, works well, no issues so far.
This service is worth no stars at all
This service is worth no stars at all. It feels like they are cheating customers. Is it legal to do what they are doing???? Avoid using Vodafone at all costs.
