Extremely disappointed with Vivobarefoot. I purchased a pair of Primus Lite III shoes for my brother — he barely used them, and within just 9 months they are already falling apart and almost useless.

To make matters worse, Vivobarefoot only offers a 6-month warranty (most reputable brands provide at least 12 months). When I contacted customer service, they refused to provide a return or refund. Instead, they offered me a 20% discount code (only valid on full-priced items until 2025 — even though the shoes are already on 25% sale) and a $25 repair reimbursement, which doesn’t even begin to cover repair costs.

After reading their emails, I can honestly say these offers are insulting rather than solutions. This is not the standard of quality or service I expected from a so-called premium brand.

Save your money and your time — unless you want to pay top dollar for poor-quality shoes and dismissive customer service.

Thieves with terrible customer service

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. Only one was delivered. I emailed vivo twice with no response. I called multiple times during their business hours and nobody answers the phone. I left a voicemail and still no response. They have stolen $300 from me. This is unacceptable.

Female with big feet

The shoes were not wide enough. I have sent an email to the company and hopefully they will offer a return. My daughter who loves hers has suggested I buy men's ones.
Edit: Refund offered, no issue. Decided to go with the men's shoes, which fit perfectly. I wear the hiking shoes mountainbiking on pedals with spikes, no slippage. The hiking boots are expensive but fantastic.
