This service is very easy to use. I needed a blood test before an NHS hospital follow-up appointment, but based on past experience I expected that arranging one via the GP would be near to impossible. An hour on hold waiting to get through, the challenge of then convincing someone to write the request form, and then a trip of 90 minutes each way to actually get the blood sample taken.
To avoid all that hassle, I decided it was worth paying for the Vitall sampling kit for the required test instead. It was a simple matter to do the finger stick for the test, pack it up, hand it to the postie, and then next day get the full results from an accredited lab, as well as suggestions for any required actions.
There are cheaper services advertised, but it's essential to use an accredited lab to know you're getting accurate results. I would gladly use Vitall again.

Highly recommend, the mainly took the test for many reasons, but my doctor screwed up my blood test results from NHS.So, I ended up taking private one and find out why I ended born with birth defect when I was a baby.

It was easy to to except the labeling bit as the sticker with the bar code didn't fit around the small blood tube. And it didn't arrive until 9 days after ordering but they are quick with replys when I was telling them. Overall good

On a plus the service has a very quick turnaround, however two consecutive samples were unreadable! The first one I was sent a complimentary retest but alas not so for the second unreadable test. I took the test correctly and posted immediately and am now £70 out of pocket. I emailed vitall around a week ago to see what could be done and despite getting the standard ‘thank you for your message, we will get back to you’ no one did!

There are a lot of blood test companies out there and I think they can vary a lot. Certainly happy I used this company.

When I was having issues with the finger test, the advisor was very quick to respond and gave me the full set of options available to help complete the test. Chose to go to one of the Goodbody clinics to get the test done. Process for booking could have been a little more straightforward (couldn't book it till the right link was activated, even though I could see the potential dates via another site). I also had to wait a month for my appointment date as there were no closer dates available. However this wasn't a major issue for me, and overall I had a very good experience. Bloods were also processed very quickly.

Excellent service, I was given a lot of information about how to perform and send the test properly and was kept up to date on the progress of my sample and test.

1ml blood is about 14 full drops and my fingers kept healing after about 4 or 5 drops.

The puncture was a little more painful than I expected, not to the point I would actually say it "hurt".
Though the puncture area did hurt afterwards and 2 of the 3 punctures did have small bruising which I was not expecting at all as i do not have this issue when I give blood or have blood tests at doctors.

Overall, the process is good 👍🏼

I had some trouble with the kit at first but received a lot of support through it and found the overall experience to be easy and stress-free.

Top class service, very fast and cheap price compared to competitors, I had asked for a comparison as results used different units for measurement and they confirmed very quickly. Will use again.
