Yes, it looked like the photos and yes, it seemed even more spacious. The apartment is in a modern building, with balconies (one adjacent to living room, one off the kitchen). The latter one especially gave us a feel for the actual year-round neighbors—spirited conversations upstairs and gardeners working the two-acre plot across the fence. A fourth floor view gives you license to be nosy. Everything we might need was there, and more: if one of a thing was enough, then several gave you a choice for almost anything. A few minutes walk took us to the beach, or turning several random corners took us to less popular spots. You have to come here. Although within a short train-ride distance from the Cinque the towns, we actually chose to be home-bodies for the most part. The local Gelato was scrumptious of course. Mauro and sposa Mary were the perfect hosts, in every way you can imagine. Come here and you may find yourself wanting to stay longer. And longer.

We had booked a Villa through VIP-BOOKING for the summer of 2020. We paid half the rent as non-refundable. We knew the risk of this but were sure that we would use the booking.

Then COVID changed everything in 2020. VIP-BOOKING were so kind to facilitate that we could postpone the booking for the summer in 2021 free of charge.

Then here in 2021 we are still not sure to be able to travel due to COVID. We therefore asked if it would be possible to postpone for another year. The owner of the villa is, however, in the process of selling the villa, which fully understandable made it impossible to postpone the booking. To our big and very welcome surprise VIP-BOOKING arranged with the owner to paid back in full our prepaid rent, which initially was paid as non-refundable.

This is really good service. VIP-BOOKING has in all matters been very service minded and they have answered all questions within few hours. So we can only recommend using VIP-BOOKING for your next holiday in Italy.

What a delight it was to arrive at Villa Helvezia Levanto and discover an absolutely palatial residence. Spacious, spotlessly clean and stylish. Gorgeous views to enjoy after a day in Cinque Terre, tranquil gardens to admire and outdoor terraces on which to relax. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. We totally loved it. Would absolutely recommend.
