Vinted holds my money because I don’t have Latvian bank account. I live in the UK and spend summer in Latvia where I sold some of my clothes, so now turned out they just hold my money and that’s it. I don’t understand how how they allowed me to sell at the first place. I consider it’s illegal and I will be looking how to escalate this further
I recently listed a few of my personal items, and the platform immediately blocked them. They are demanding that I provide original store receipts to prove authenticity.
This is complete nonsense. These are my own clothes that I’ve owned for a while; nobody keeps paper receipts for every single item in their wardrobe for years. It is impossible for a regular person to meet these requirements. Very frustrating experience for a new user. I wouldn't recommend this platform if you're just trying to sell your pre-loved clothes.If you want to sell your pre-loved items without being treated like a criminal, look elsewhere. Extremely disappointed with the bureaucracy and lack of common sense.
