Vinted is a great platform that lets you sell the things you no longer use, but which might still be of interest to someone else, at attractive prices

I sold an article which i shipped in due time. The package arrived but it was not collected by the customer and i got information that the package was going to be returned to me. Up to now i have not yet received it back.
Considering the time it took to me to pack the article (1 pant at € 10,00), the fact that the customer didn't pick it up should not just be solved sending the package back to me but i think i should get the payment anyway

I have been a loyal high-value customer with over €10,000 in total transactions and a monthly spend of €1,000 - €1,500. My account (Ziohu) was recently blocked after a dispute with a seller who sold me a counterfeit item and insulted me first by calling me "ignorant". While I regret my choice of words, Vinted's automated system is protecting a fraudster and banning a victimized top-tier buyer without a proper manual review. I demand a senior specialist to review my case and restore my access.

Vinted is intuitive and simple to use. It lets you reach a vast range of people interested in selling and/or buying.

I really like how Vinted is designed — it’s simple, convenient, and easy to use. However, I don’t fully understand how the algorithm works. After being inactive for a while, new listings often get a boost in views, but after a couple of days the visibility drops again, even for good, new items. Also, sometimes shipping costs more than the item itself, which can be a bit disappointing.

Vinted permanently blocked my account over a completely false accusation and their support has been disgraceful.

The issue started with a listing for NON-FUNCTIONING REPRODUCTIONS of antique weapons. These were not real weapons, not usable, and not functioning in any way. This was clearly stated in the listing. The item remained “under review” and then, without any proper warning, my account was blocked.

What makes this even worse is that I never received any email notification, even though the platform indicated that communications would also be sent by email. For days, I was left without real assistance and only received automated replies.

Meanwhile, my account was frozen with ongoing transactions, pending shipments, delivered items I could not confirm or contest, and a balance that I could not withdraw. In other words, they blocked everything without providing proper human support.

Then they claimed the case had been manually reviewed and that they believed I had tried to sell real weapons. This is simply false. I never listed real weapons. I listed non-functioning reproductions, and now Vinted has even deleted the listing, making it impossible for me to point out the exact wording and prove their mistake.

That is what is most shocking: they make a serious accusation, permanently block an account, provide no meaningful assistance, and then remove the very listing that would allow the user to defend themselves.

I had been using Vinted for months, following the platform’s rules and even paying for boosts. In return, I got an automated, unfair, and deeply frustrating experience with no real customer care.

This has been one of the worst support experiences I have ever had on any platform. I strongly advise others to be careful: if Vinted’s system makes a mistake, it seems almost impossible to speak to a real person before your account, money, and transactions are all put at risk.
