Absolutely disgusting how vinted…

Absolutely disgusting how vinted blocked my account with no evidence and repeated automated messages when I asked for evidence of allegations of fraud. I have never sold counterfeit products in my life, and Vinted have only done this as I repeatedly got damaged goods in the post. I claimed as I pay buyer protection, yet I get accused of fraud. Absolutely a shame and a scam of a company.

Buyer refunded while keeping my item

I had a very disappointing experience with Vinted’s customer support regarding a damaged parcel dispute.

I sold a mirror that was carefully packaged inside a fully closed cardboard box with protective honeycomb paper inside. No part of the mirror was visible from outside the parcel.

The buyer later reported that a detachable branch was damaged/missing, but the mirror itself was not shattered or destroyed. The photos provided did not clearly prove insufficient packaging or show a completely broken item.

Despite this, Vinted quickly concluded that my packaging was “insufficient” and cancelled the transaction.

What is most concerning is that:

the buyer received a full refund;
while also keeping my mirror;
and no return of the item was ever arranged.

I provided detailed explanations and evidence, but the “review” of my case appeared to be completed almost instantly, which made the process feel automated rather than genuinely investigated.

As a seller, this experience felt extremely unfair and unbalanced. I understand protecting buyers, but sellers also deserve a transparent and serious review process.

Great customer service and fast delivery

I had a very good experience with Vinted. The app is easy to use, delivery was fast, and the seller was reliable. Customer service answered quickly and helped solve my issue. I recommend this app for buying and selling clothes safely.

Vinted is a dictatorship run by AI

Honestly it's become the worste selling app ever made .
There's only AI robot " customer services " i use " because the service is non existante .
I've been selling on vinted for 5 years I've never really had any issues until 6 months ago .
Constant bans , listings being deleted for no reason , 0 seller protections , loosing so many items and momey but the buyer gets reimbursed instantly.
In the last 2 months I've been restricted for 56 days . Why ? For selling items that have categories so are allowed

A business threading at the edges of…

A business threading at the edges of the European Union's legal frameworks. They expect you to wait 25 business days before a return is confirmed. Sometimes, they ask you to wait another 25 business days after the seller receives the item back, before Vinted can issue your money back. The legal period for refunds in the EU is 14 days. Vinted only works if the seller is honest and sends you the item you paid for as described. Customer service is automated and does not understand customer queries, and it responds with the same answers you find on the website. An ongoing awful experience with this barely legal business.

The explanation is easy to understand
Your gain is 5% for each one so your interest for business is to keep a maximum of transactions. Best regards

Vinted has become an absolute nightmare…

Vinted has become an absolute nightmare for honest buyers. They charge you for so-called
"buyer protection," but the moment you actually need protection, nobody is there to help. In the end, the scammer keeps the item, keeps the money, gets refunded... while the victim is forced to fight just to prove they were scammed. It's completely absurd.
What's even more outrageous is the total reversal of roles: despite multiple reports and other users warning about the same seller, Vinted still chooses to protect the scammer instead of the person who was harmed. You pay extra fees for a "protection" service that feels completely fake.
Their customer service gives the impression of copy-pasted automated responses, with no real listening, no real investigation, and no genuine intention to help. No logic, no fairness, no actual protection. Being treated like a suspect after being scammed is honestly disgusting.
Maybe the app is fine for selling a couple of old T-shirts. But the moment a serious issue happens, be prepared to be abandoned, lose your money, waste your time, and completely lose trust in the platform.
