I got scammed at Vinted. Seller sent a jacket completely different to what I paid for. Vinted did absolutely nothing even tho I paid the mandatory "buyer protection" and released the payment to the scammer despite my complaints.

They are scammers
I bought UGG on vinted
They were too small
I wanted to sell the same item, and they block it as not original
So first they allowed to be sold as original but than resold not?
I keep appealing but there is AI only answering
They also took money from me for bunping the ad and than they blocked it- but money never returned

Vinted is like the best flea market experience you can have. As a family with low income we're absolutely greatful to have the opportunity to purchase and sell these articles we use daily, but can't really afford new. It's one of my favourite apps.

Horrible unfortunately… I used to love vinted and loved selling!! Since more countries are involved there repeatedly happened to be issues. As a seller you basically have no rights at all. In the past I have experienced package lost, buyer telling me there was no item inside, buyer telling vinted they didn’t like the product and cancelled. And all these cases got a full refund, even though I had evidence and it was NEVER my fault. I have lost so much money now, and buyer were able to keep the product AND got a refund. I am thinking about deleting my account…

I love vinted so much. It is my true obsession. At first, it started by finding expensive things for cheaper price. But then I started selling myself and to tell you, the experience was just great, because I didn’t expect that the platform works really well and items sell out really quickly. It’s such a comfortable to use and thought through app. I love it.

the very bad customer service that I have experienced in my life. im waiting for almost 2 months for a refund. Nothing. they don't even read the messages and ask the same questions again and again. I have sent already twice my PayPal transactions. still nothing. They don't have any overview of the cases. It is really disappointing .

Verkauf und Kauf ganz Ok, aber die exzessive Verwendung lächerlicher und überflüssiger Anglizismen fällt mir negativ auf (Promotion-Tools, pushen, Badges, Cash, Community, Transparency and Consent Framework, Performance, Style u.a.).

The platform is good, their idea is brilliant, but the support system is a disaster! Only automated responses and unfounded decisions. How can you decide that the customer is right if the product has been manipulated and modified by the customer and after the decision it is that the product does not comply with the description? Embarrassing!

I received a broken item. As per their terms, I informed them and sent them photos as evidence. They closed my ticket with the argument that I did not send any evidence. Their teams have reached the wrong verdict, and I have to escalate this matter to PayPal and then to a lawyer.

The best secondhand platform I know so far. I have way too much good clothing that we no longer need, to the point of despair. Since joining Vinted, I sell up to four items of clothing every day. Selling through the system is perfectly automated, making the entire process quick and easy. I'm absolutely thrilled!

The article are removed to fast somethimes and the reson is not clear why and then the process to be the item visible again take too long in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

I sold a brand new perfume on Vinted after already selling 50+ times, with a perfect 5-star score. The perfume is €240 in stores but I sold it for €150.

Upon arrival, the buyer claimed that the perfume was damaged, and escalated to Vinted. I followed up with her with multiple questions, and she claimed the perfume was leaking, and did not spray anymore. Because of this I accepted a return and paid for shipping.

Upon return, the perfume was NOT damaged, the spray was working perfectly, and it was not leaking. I shaked it up and down over a piece of paper and nothing came out. I took photos and videos of this, and of the spray working absolutely fine. Conclusion: The buyer bought my perfume, used it, decided she didn’t like it, and lied to me for a refund.

I very clearly expressed this to support and wrote a clear and concise explanation, and added evidence. I even told them that I have clear videos showing that there is no leaking or issue with spraying, and requested to let me supply them.

Marwa then, without even inquiring further, sent me a copy+paste answer that had nothing to do with my issue, closed the issue, and refunded the scammer in full. I asked to at least refund me the return shipping costs that I paid for the scammer to return my item, but I keep receiving copy+paste answers, and Marwa keeps closing the ticket without actually answering.

This is unacceptable, Vinted is facilitating scammers. This way people will just buy brand new cosmetics, decide they don’t like them after all, lie, and return the now-used cosmetics for free. And I’m out of €150+5=€155.

Fast and Easy

It’s alright and it’s nice to find 2nd hand items for good prices, but the issue I’ve been having has not been addressed by the customer service. One agent in particular by the name of Zidiria has been giving me a hard time. After 3 orders in a row having been immediately returned to sender on the same day as delivery, despite me using the DPD Flexbox address provided by the Vinted system, they won’t escalate or open an investigation. This is clearly an issue that I had requested to get looked into but the agent only repeated a generic response of “you didn’t pick the parcel up on time”. But how can I be late when the same day it “delivers” it gets returned to center for 3 separate orders? At this point, if the collection point cannot be used, Vinted should launch an investigation and/or remove this location as a shipping option. It’s especially difficult when sellers only allow DPD as a delivery service. I understand Vinted does not have control over delivery, but it affects Vinted when a courier service they support is not doing their job, but then to blame the customer when tracking shows it is not the customers fault. I had already placed the 3 separate orders before even realizing this address and delivery service would be an issue. Again, on the day of delivery to a 24/7 flexbox, the delivery driver marks the parcel as undeliverable and immediately begins a return to the seller. That’s suspicious activity that should at least spark an investigation. Same delivery company, same address 3x. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, I have not received a response from this Vinted agent.

Vinted really helped me make some money off of making bracelets and selling them there ! I'm a student so I can rlly use the moneyy and stuffs but it has also led me to cool interactions w other ppl on here :33
