very good app to sell you're old clothes i personally use this app for 2 years now and it's just perfect

0 protection for sellers. Courier treated the package like a rugby ball, parcel was sent inside a bubble envelope with extra foam protection inside, still arrived damaged.
Buyer agreed this was on the courier, but Vinted still took the easy way out and blamed it on the seller, left me without any compensation.
I've been robbed of a few € and left without a precious music collectible from the 90's that was destroyed in the process.

Hello, this morning my account was suspended for alleged sale of counterfeit items and creation of multiple accounts.
I am a 5-star seller with an excellent track record, hundreds of successful sales and zero complaints from buyers. I have never sold counterfeit items and I have not been provided with any specific evidence regarding the items in question.
Regarding the multiple accounts: I only had a secondary profile years ago which I personally deleted; this was the only active account I was using. I have not created any other profiles.
I have already submitted an official appeal explaining everything and I am available to send any proof (detailed photos, receipts, etc.). I kindly request a review of my case because the suspension seems to be a mistake and I am losing the possibility to sell and withdraw my pending funds.

It's the first time I am on Vinted and I've been quite pleased with this experience.
However I think the time to transfer the payment of a buyer is quite long.

I earned money on my account and for some reason I can't access it anymore. Vinted is unwilling to help after reaching out 5 times. They stole from me.

I had a very disappointing experience with Vinted regarding a counterfeit item.

I purchased a product advertised as authentic (LEGO), but what I received was clearly **fake**: missing branding, no identification codes, and visibly different from the original.

I immediately reported the issue and provided evidence. The transaction was suspended and an investigation was opened. However, despite this, I was later instructed to **return the counterfeit item at my own expense** in order to receive a refund.

This is where the problem becomes serious.

Vinted’s own policy states that **counterfeit items should not be returned and should not be put back into circulation**. Yet, their support team gave me **contradictory instructions**, asking me to ship the item anyway.

So, on one hand they acknowledge the issue, and on the other hand they ask the buyer to handle and resend a fake product. This is inconsistent and unacceptable.

Customer support has been slow, repetitive, and unable to provide a clear and coherent solution. I had to repeat the same explanations multiple times without any real progress.

As a buyer, I expected protection and clarity in a situation involving counterfeit goods. Instead, I faced confusion, delays, and requests that do not align with their own rules.

Unless this situation is properly resolved, I will not use this platform again.

I strongly advise other users to be cautious when purchasing branded items and to be aware that resolving such issues may not be straightforward.

With Vinted I can sell stuf very fast! I made a lot of money, and it’s pretty productive!

Selling things is easy, I sell things here that I was not expecting to sell at all, things that just won't sell on other second hand sites go here on Vinted in a heartbeat!! I love it!

I had a very bad experience with Vinted.

First, I bought 5 pairs of shoes on the platform, and all of them turned out to be fake. When I reported this, Vinted refused to refund or properly handle the situation.

Second, my account was suddenly removed without any clear explanation, even though I followed all the rules. There was no proper justification or real support to resolve it.

On top of that, I sold an iPhone 17 Pro Max that passed vinted verification process. Despite this, the transaction was cancelled, the buyer was refunded, even tho he makred receiving the the phone and didn't report anything, and because of canceling the transaction, the buyer kept the phone. I lost both my device and the money. This is completely unacceptable.

Overall, this platform failed me as both a seller and a buyer:

No protection for sellers
No action against counterfeit items
Poor customer support and very robotic, they don't read the cases at all
Unfair account bans

I strongly advise people to be very careful using Vinted, especially if you gonna sell something expensive, My experience resulted in significant financial loss with no resolution.
