I ordered 2 carpets online february 2015 at vintagecarpets.com in Athens. The owner replied in minutes and answered all my questions in a professional way. The carpets were delivered in 4 days via UPS. The carpets are very beautiful and you can look at each one of them online on a video, where they get described individually by the owner. There is no risk because you get refund if you don't like what you get. You only will have to pay for the shipping, which is ok. The prices are really low in comparison to other competitors. I can fully recommend this company in any belongings. The owner speaks a perfect english and takes good care of his customers.
If you look for a vintage carpet, this is the place to buy!

Wonderful experience. What online shopping should always be like. Shopping for carpets, my wife found this great site, hoping to find at least one of the three carpets we needed. I was initially skeptical but I established a direct contact with Amir by email and I found this gentleman very kind and availble to answer my questions right back. The carpet description is accurate and most of them are also shown in a video that is 100% accurate in the colours and shapes. Finally, the option "Cash on Delivery" contributed to make the decision. The carpets arrived in 3 days and they are so beautiful . I want to thank again Amir for the support. I will recommend this shop to everybody!

I ordered 4 carpets and they are beautiful and of good quality. If I had a villa with 20 rooms I would order 20 carpets right now! When I had a question I called the free service number and got all the answers from a very friendly and nice person in perfect english. THANX!

not only the carpet is a dream and exactly like it was described by Amir, the owner. The whole procedure, paying and receiving the carpet only a few days later, was so customer orientated, that I can recommend vintage carpets without any limitations.

On a Wednesday evening we ordered a carpet on vintagecarpets.com and Thursday morning we had the UPS tracking number. The carpet arrived exactly one week later as scheduled by UPS.

Unfortunately the carpet did not look like we expected. It was considerably darker in the color and to be honest we thought it was a "fake vintage". I called immediately Amir who asked me to visit any carpet shop for their evaluation.

Under all circumstances the color were too dark for us, so we decided quickly to return the carpet (without the expert evaluation). Amir offered to have the carpet picked up by UPS at our address for only EUR 38 which in fact is very cheap. After pick up by UPS, we could see that the carpet should be delivered in Greece one week later. Exactly on the date of delivery in Greece, we got an e-mail from paypal that our money was returned to our account.

In the meantime I visited a carpet shop in Denmark and showed them some photos of our vintage carpet as well as comparing with some vintage carpets in the shop. The guy at the shop (and now myself) were 100% convinced that it was REAL vintage.

I am sure that we are going to by another vintage carpet from Amir in near future, but we might ask for a video before making the firm order. The colors can be difficult to judge from a computer screen.

All in all - we can strongly recommend vintagecarpets.com as a fast, reliable and serious company with an excellent service and attractive prices.

the carpets are very good documented, there is no (bad) surprise. also you get them very fast. the costumer contact is also very friendly, fast and serious.
the only thing I want to point out, is that for switzerland the money back guarantee does not work. Than means you can't send the carpets back. Also the special offers do not work for us in switzerland.

I was nervous purchasing a carpet from Greece. But since the prices were good, i did order after reading good experiences on trustpilot.
I was very disappointed when they told me the carpet i bought was already sold in the shop. But fortunately i found another one witch i think was a better choice.
I bought the carpet around christmas time and i think they were very busy which was not a good combination with my nervousness.
But i was very happy with the carpets when they arrived.
In real, they are more dark then on the pictures. But in case of the biggest carpet i bought, that was quit a nice surprise. I just ordered a new carpet. So after all it was a very good experience!
