I am an architect in NYC and I have been looking for museum quality replicas of sculptures I see in the many museums and galleries for years now and have found it very difficult to find a place that met those standards. I have seen Walking Man being sold in other places, but not at this scale and not with the quality materials being offered by Villohome. The sculpture is true in every detail and has a beautiful marble base that I am proud to display in my home. I ordered it on a Saturday and it arrived on a Tuesday well packaged and protected. I LOVE MY NEW PIECE!!! Please consider adding Alexander Archipenko to the list of artists whose work you represent. In particular, I am looking for Torso in Space. Love, love, love your store!!!

Now, I have investigated this matter and came to know that the reason why our team advised of additional shipping was because the shipping that was charged to you while checking out was under an assumption that the product that you ordered was available in the same state as your delivery address however later, the vendor informed us that they didn't have any stock available there. Now, it is one of the downsides of the dropshipping business model where we cannot control the availability of the inventory and we have to rely on the vendor's instructions completely. Having said this, I also agree that as a customer, it is not your fault either which is why in such situations, we try to cover as much of an additional shipping cost as possible (even at the cost of bearing a minor loss on the order) however in some situations, where the additional shipping is way too high, we do have to ask the customer to contribute a part of it. I hope you can understand our situation. I again apologize for the inconvenience.
