This is a good idea as many of the venues on the pass are hours worth of sightseeing alone, therefore you might not get your value from a full on pass of the city. The sites really do have a lot of c... See more

Flexi pass (mid april 2026)
We used Flexi pass it in mid April. It was good. One point regarding schonbrunn palace. To do the whole visite a supplement where needed, it was not said on the site. for the rest it was perfect.

We were very pleased with our passes
We were very pleased with our passes, everything was very good.
Vienna pass with children
In general I am very much satisfied from the experience. It is not the first time buying Vienna pass. The reasons I am not giving 5 stars: 1.hop-on hop-off drivers are very rude and unpolite; 2. there was a period of several hours that the blue line bus route was changed but there was no information at station 5, no notice on the website or a staff who could warn us (adults with children) not to wait for nothing. 3. we were not allowed to visit the Childrens museum at Schonbrun palace. The staff did not want to speak in English so we didn't understand the reason. Everything else was perfect.
The Viena flexipass
The Viena flexipass. It's more expensive that buy individual tickets. we can visit only a litte part the palace. To visitit all palace you must to pay appart/ more. Finally more expensive.

Kids Are Sometimes for free!
Be Aware: many museums are for Kids for free so no pass is needed at all.
Great for adults, but in doubt for families.

Great value!
Had a smooth and pleasant experience while using the pass at venues and the hop on hop off bus.
So many amazing experiences
So many amazing experiences! We got to see so many things al over the beautiful city.
It's good for gallery access but...
It's good for gallery and museum access but I could have done without the Hop On buses which just serves to inflate the price of it - I used one once to justify it but I could've done it in half the time on the metro. Vienna's public transport is so good these buses are largely unnecessary. Same goes for the river cruises - I did take one but I thought it was a bit pointless and I didn't get much out of it. I also thought it was a bit of a con that at Schonbrunn a) you still had to go get a ticket, and b) to see the palace was an extra €10 - which I didn't pay. I wouldn't get this pass again, to be honest.

Worst experience
Worst experience , even though after purchasing the pass , we had to get tickets which lead us to missing so many attractions. Should be allowed to buy tickets online with vienna paas

The nice city pass than Rome and…
The nice city pass than Rome and others. really helping visitor to explore Vienna.
You get an access to many museums
You get an access to many museums and exhibitions, but some of them that should be with a priority pass for example Sisi's castle you have to wait till other people who just bought the tickets in office enter and you, who bought a Pass in advance, that the same as like a normal ticket, have to stay outside. It's not acceptable.
Second visit to Vienna.
Easy website.
Excellent and informative service at the shop on the Opern Ring.
Not worth it
Considering the extent of the Vienna-Pass, it is not worth the price and it is way too expensive. Not all places accept it and it is not plausible to use it even though it offers access to various museums or other attractions. For instance, only a small part of Schönbrunn Palace is accesible with Vienna Pass or it does not guarantee audio guides. Some museums require time-slot reservations, thus using the pass effectively becomes impossible. In addition, the staff were not helpful due to the failure of my phone, my battery has stopped charging on this journey. I asked for a physical card and they said it was not possible. I had to fix it before entering a palace, which led to more than a half day loss for me.

We bought the 6-day Vienna Pass but…
We bought the 6-day Vienna Pass but only had 5 days to use it and overall we felt it was good value for money. We visited all the major attractions, including Schönbrunn, the Sisi Museum (Hofburg), Belvedere, Spanish horse school training morning and several museums and the pass made entry very straightforward. In many places we were able to skip the main ticket queues, which saved time and made the experience smoother.
There are a few things worth knowing in advance. Some included activities are seasonal (for example, boat cruises), which we didn't realize when booking in March. So, for major attractions like Schönbrunn and the Sisi Museum, you still need to book a timed entry slot. These can sometimes be a few (3 or 4) hours later than expected, which means you need to plan your day around them or try and book the day before — something we hadn't anticipated.
The hop-on hop-off bus is included, but we didn't use it as much as we could have. It felt a bit slow for getting between places when we were trying to see a lot. That said, on reflection it is actually a very good way to see the city and learn more about it and I would make more use of it on a return visit. It's also worth noting that there are multiple hop-on hop-off bus companies in Vienna, and you need to make sure you are using the one included with the Vienna Pass, which wasn't immediately obvious to us at the start.
It's also important to note that some popular sights are not included — such as the famous churches, tower viewpoints, and smaller museums — and these typically cost around €8–€10. A few places only accept cash, which is useful to know.
In terms of value, I would say the pass works best if you plan to visit at least 2-3 major attractions per day. If you prefer a slower pace, you may not get full financial value, but the convenience can still make it worthwhile.
Overall, we really enjoyed using the pass and would definitely consider it again for a future visit, now that we better understand how to plan around it.
It was a great pass
It was a great pass, recommend to read upfront which tickets you still need to reserve, like Hofburg, Spanish riding school and Schönbrunn. With kids the Natural history museum and the Music house is a great experience.
A good idea in principle but overpriced
A good idea in principle but we didn't have time to visit enough attractions to justify the expense. For example a visit to the Kunsthistorische Museum took over four hours. So overall we lost money. We wouldn't recommend it at that price.

Outstanding value
Outstanding value! Vienna has so much more to offer than the standard attractions and we are glad to be able to explore more with the pass
Reasonable value
Reasonable value. Long waits at some of the attractions left us with less time to do things than we needed, and also meant we had to skip some attractions. You still have to queue even if you have pre-purchased the pass. Time is money.
An update following the reply from Vienna Pass. Our Ticket was purchased on line, and we had no interaction with any staff from Vienna Pass. It is not clear that for some attractions there can be a 3 hour wait in line.

Too Expensive, Not enough Time
nearly impossible to make use of the full value of this pass, at least for the 3 day one. Too expensive, and not even valid for 72 hours fully (if you start it in the middle of the day, that's your full day). Given it's all done via QR code it seems like that would be an easy fix for them, but I felt gouged.

The pass is great value
The pass is great value, but the hop on and hop off bus is that great. Buses are either early or late, the blue line kicked us all off before the Opera house and the buses start too late and end too early, so I had to use the Ubahn to get around.
