The delivery was delayed, and I was only informed four days after my purchase. Also, the product arrived with a damaged corner, and the assembly instructions were printed out of order.

Update: I'm adding one star because the customer support team handled my complaint promptly and professionally, which led to a positive final experience

Design flaws

Several parts were impossible to use in the design. After the company's help center reached out, they genuinely understood the product issues and figured out a way to compensate. Support is great, and I really hope they'll consider our discussion.

defective parts

way too many pieces that didnt have to be separated but still we needed to assemble them, and TWO defective parts, i was forced to open new holes in the correct place in order to manage and put the furniture together. Low quality wood

Very good products

Very good products, well packaged. But.... I found the same wooden stool (exactly the same!! ) made in Vietnam, in a shop at my hometown for only 17,99 euros, instead of 45 or 48 that I paid to you !! Not a good bargain
Too expensive for what it's worth.

JUNK!

Really low quality products at very high prices. Bought a sofa and table for the balcony for €400. The items arrived and they are the cheapest junk. The quality is honestly worth about €50 tops for both, on a generous day. VidaXL should be ashamed!

Needless to say, both are being returned for refund. Lesson learned: shop at a local store instead.

19/2/25 UPDATE: While I maintain that the items I purchased from VidaXL were low quality and very overpriced, their customer service was exceptionally responsive to handling my returns and I received a refund - although minus a €9.99 return fee - within 2 weeks of returning the items.

So, the lesson with VidaXL is: poor quality and very overpriced items, but good customer service should you need to return your purchase.

Damaged goods, customer care rocks

Not only it took ages to receive the TV cabinet, when it finally arrived, it was visibly damaged even in its packaging. Not wanting to cope with further delays, I decided to overlook the damage, "patch" it, and assemble the cabinet. Sadly, the end result looks way worse than the advertised image (I mean, sure, that's what happens most of the time... but, come on, the price tag "promised" better quality).

I am not happy at all with this purchase. I should have just gone to a local store and buy something similar for the same amount of money.

P.S. I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Customer care contacted me right away, and they provided an acceptable solution to the issue. Knowing now that they value their customers, I can say that it would have been a definite 5 star review. Still, I leave the original review, so that other users know what they might encounter. Cheers and thanks for the great support!

Good products at a good price BUT this is a European company that ships from warehouses outside of Greece, a fact that is not mentioned anywhere. Whether you register as a corporate customer or a retail customer, it's clear you won't receive a Greek invoice, as they simply cannot provide one. As for customer service, you’d better hope you don’t need it. They respond via email using Google Translate, more or less. No proper communication, no accountability on their part.

I ordered 2 x Ratan couches from this…

I ordered 2 x Ratan couches from this crowd. They came and I had to assemble them. As you can read in some of the posts assembly is impossible unless you have an engineering degree and workshop full of tools an F1 teem would appreciate. The assembly instructions are useless and badly printed. I see they are based in Holand but you can see that the products are manufactured in the east, the quality is so crap it makes me laugh.
I have redesigned the whole couch assembly method which cannot be done by someone without engineering skills and tools. If you do not have these skills DO NOT BUY KIT FORM PRODUCTS FROM THESE CLOWNS
I will be buying nothing assembled or not
